PartyWith friendly and original architecture, the Paloma Grida and its buildings have been designed to resemble an antique fishing village. The lobby open to the outside leads out to a lively pathway running right up to the sea. On it you will find various shops and bars with outdoor terraces. You'll think you're in the middle of a seaside resort village. With special attention focused on children, we recommend this hotel to families.
The Paloma Grida stands on the seafront in the tourist area of Belek. Antalya city centre is 28 mi away and the airport is 22 mi away, so allow half an hour for transfers.
The hotel is open seasonally, from early April to early November. In addition to its regular opening hours during the day, the mini-club is open to children ages 4 to 12 from 7:00pm until 11:00pm. A club for teenagers is open in high season.
This convivial holiday club houses a total of 459 guest rooms, 76 of which have a view of the sea. The Paloma Grida was built in 1996 in a 3 acre park abundant with greenery and was renovated in 2007. It is equipped with water facilities galore: no less than 5 outdoor pools, including one stretching over an area of 1,800m². Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the presence of tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, and children will enjoy the water park equipped with waterslides supervised by a lifeguard, before going on to having fun at the mini disco organised every night. An ultra contemporary beach bar fitted with wide cushions and white leather armchairs provides the perfect place for total relaxation in an idyllic setting, a stone's throw from the sea. Party animals are sure to enjoy great nights at the pretty night club set up on the beach, and during the day these same party animals will be able to recuperate at the beautiful Ottoman spa, where various treatments are performed.
The rooms are distributed throughout 35 three storey buildings scattered around neatly kept gardens. You may find it somewhat tedious walking back to your room because of the complex being so spread out. Indeed, some of the rooms are a fair distance from the common areas and you won't find any lifts either. The standard rooms are spacious but the decor is minimal and there is no room service. Their amenities include satellite television, central air conditioning, a minibar, and a free safe. Each one of the 17 suites housed in the 'lake villas' has a private jacuzzi, and only the 76 superior rooms have a view of the sea.
This hotel's catering services are worth a special mention: gourmets will be delighted. Meals are served as generous buffets in a large room extending out onto a terrace. The cuisine, both local and international, is delicious and varied. Guests can enjoy their meals any time between 7:00am and 12:00am, and are spoilt for choice with 6 à la carte restaurants (Italian, Chinese, French, Turkish, Greek, and Mediterranean), each one displaying a refined decor in a nice location with a view of the pool or the sea. A mini buffet is at the children's disposal.
With direct access from the hotel, the beach is easily accessible. Moreover, and particularly pleasant, it is composed of sand only, which is unusual for this region. It is equipped with cushioned deckchairs and sunshades free of charge for guests. Do make the most of the peacefulness of this place, where a great many water sports activities (jet-skiing, parasailing, waterskiing, etc) are available mostly for a fee.
