NatureThe Lara Resort Spa & Suites, which belongs to the Barut Hotels group, is a vast hotel situated in a 110,000 mē park. At the Lara Resort Spa & Suites, you will find a good level of service and cleanliness, superb peace and quiet, and the opportunity to relax in one of the many green areas, as well as excellent value for money.
The hotel is located not far from the airport (6 mi away) and is 7 mi from the city of Antalya. There are a few shops and a supermarket about 500m from the hotel.
The hotel opened in April 2005, and there is a Dolmus stop just in front of it. Several bus routes also pass by here on their way to the airport and the city of Antalya. We would recommend you take a bus ride at least once to get to know the country and its people a bit better. It is very cheap, although you will need to set aside a fair bit of time. Going by taxi is faster but less of an adventure and, above all, is more expensive.
The hotel complex consists of a huge and very well maintained property measuring 110,000mē. It is covered in vast, luxuriant lawns, but there are not many trees. The hotel is 400 metres from the beach, and in summer, a shuttle service is provided for guests. The children's corner, with its swimming pool and slides, is cheerfully decorated in the colours of the rainbow. Inside the hotel, in the thalassotherapy area, is the indoor salt water swimming pool, which opens onto the outside. There are two saunas, one of which is open to all guests, and the other is reserved for women only. Next to the hall, there are five computers for guests to use, and free Wi-Fi access is available in the lobby.
The hotel is a 10-floor building served by 3 lifts, and has 157 standard rooms, 52 Deluxe rooms, 3 Honeymoon suites, 8 suites and 2 rooms that cater for guests with disabilities. The rooms are all very pretty, spacious and brightly lit, and provided with bathrobes and slippers. The facilities include a large flat-screen television, a DVD player, a stereo system and free use of the safe. There is also a mini-bar, a kettle and tea and coffee-making facilities. In addition to the air-conditioning, there is a fan attached to the ceiling. The rooms are designed for 2 or 3 guests. In the apartments, where the accommodation units are divided between type A (86mē for 3+1 guests) and type B (65mē for 4+1 guests), you will even be able to cook.
The main restaurant operates as a buffet, serving up excessive quantities of a wide choice of dishes. Breakfast starts at 6:30am, but if you like to have a lie-in it is still available at 10:00am or 11:00am. If you feel peckish in the night, there is a midnight feast from 12:00am to 1:00am. Almost everything is on offer. The staff is very attentive and quick, and the barmen are pretty efficient, so you will never have to wait too long at the bar.
The beach is 170 metres long and 40 metres wide, so there is plenty of space for everyone to stretch out on a deckchair under the shade of a white parasol. The sand consists of little stones that start just at the right depth in the water. Shower and toilet facilities are provided on the beach.
