Hotel Dome Beach

Located in Ayia Napa, on the seashore, the hotel is however located 4 miles away from its small picturesque port. The main advantage of this is that you will not disturbed by the nocturnal animation of the famous touristic resort. To get to Larnaca, allow a 40 minute drive (about 24 miles away). Not far away from the water park (Water World) and the karting run. The closest stores and taverns are 1,900 feet away. A regular bus and taxi service is available.

The hotel is open to vacationists from April to November. A majority of single persons, the guests of the hotel are German, Swiss, then English and Italian. 12 animators offer a very complete set of daily activites, both during the day and evening: competitions, different sports lessons, various shows (live music, folk Cypriot dances...). Different artists are invited for magic and pyrotechnics demonstrations. Reception is open 24/7. Organisations of conferences, incentives, seminaries...
The hotel has taken care of everything for kids' delight: Domino mini-club (from 4 to 12 years old), open from May to October, mini-disco. Possibility for children to eat earlier. Baby-monitor available.

In retreat of the large road connecting Ayia Napa to Larnaca, the Dome has been connected to the sea since 1984, the date of its construction. Fully renovated in 2004, this air-conditioned 3-level hotel has a 430,000 square feet area. The general decoration inside the hotel is quite refined. The long living-room in the reception hall is in summer colours and is at the image of the hotel: comfortable armchairs, cushions, fancy furniture. The ever-present vegetation in the heart of the hotel covers the public spaces. While kids can play in the playground protected by barriers (in good state), parents can enjoy the circumvolution pool right aside. Small islands, where flowers and palm trees are mixed in, break the surface. Facing the other side of the central building is a second pool - also of 4,300 square feet - but this time, it is rectangular. To these, add two pools for kids of 172 and 210 square feet. The quality deckchairs are matching. A pleasant thing: the areas are usually opened onto one another. In addition, you will also find an international diving centre in the hotel (the first initiation class is free), a TV room with a big screen TV, a gym with saunas, jacuzzi (sad!), massage rooms, locker rooms, sports room, 5 tennis courts, a mini-foot/basketball field, a snooker, quoit games.

The hotel offers a total of 205 air-conditioned rooms (387 square feet), among which 174 have twin beds and 31 have double beds. The rooms are spread among the whole area: 147 in the main building, 38 bungalows around the pool and only 20 rooms in the gardens. As a result, they offer great views of the pool, the beach and/or the verdure. The studios(11) and the family rooms (10) can welcome up to 5 people. There are also 70 communicating rooms. The latter have a discreet charm, with a combination of light-coloured wood and blue carpet, curtains and bedspreads. The large mirror and the lampshades add even more charm to it. The hallways are clean and bright. Notable facilities: TV ( 22 channels including 2 cinema channels), radio, mini-bar (filled), air-conditioning, direct telephone line, safe (paying), hair-dryer, razor outlet. Above a large vanity unit embedded in a marble table is a huge mirror, very practical for last minute checks in the rather large bathroom (bathtub with shower, welcome products).

The buffet is set up in a open space separated from the restaurant. Lots of choices and a lot of space to serve yourself. Once you have selected your food, everyone goes back to have a seat in the restaurant, located in a large room right next door. The ''Cerinia'', with a veranda, offers a very elegant and bright ambience from 7.00pm to 10.00pm with its red carpet and ceiling adorned with chandeliers. Table d'hôte or à la carte menu with the allocation of credits for clients staying half-board and full-board. There are various alternating thematic evenings: Cypriot ''Meze'', Italian, tropical (oriental specialities), barbecue... Guests can have breakfast at the buffet from 7.00am to 10.00am at the ''Lamboussa cafeteria and veranda'', which offers a dietary area. Here are also served meals for kids. Special menus available. The ''Aquarius'' restaurant/bar of the pool, offers for lunch and dinner: grills, salads and all kinds of snacks. During summer, the ''Alakati beach bar'' refreshes beach people with ice creams and exotic cocktails. Inside, the lounge bar ''Zephiros'' offers you more drinks and cocktails.

The Dome has the privileged to be located on two bays. It offers a total of 1,500 feet of oceanfront. The fine and golden sand, very rare in the south of Cyprus, tickles the sole of your feet as soon as you go out of the hotel. One of the beautiful two beaches has a blue flag, as a proof of cleanness. So the clients of the hotel are lucky enough to choose to the place where they swim, and also their restaurant/bar and their favorite water clubs. Deckchairs and sunshades are available on the beach, and a playground for your kids too. Beach towels are available.
