The 151 rooms of the Avenida Palace are spread out in a splending 9-storey building served by an elevator and a majestic staircase dating back to the 1949 before the building became a hotel. A true palace as its name suggests: everything is chic, dignified and elegant, with the refined decoration of the 1950s with hanging lights, pillars, gilding and statues. Special mention should be made of the magnificient lounge and chimney whose hearth is topped by a bust and large flat screen. This very cosy place equally serves as a library. A lovely place to recline and relax. Open throughout the year, the hotel has a full accommodation capacity of 320 clients. Open in 1952 and renovated in 2006, the Avenida Palace is a member of the Spanish Husa group of hotels that equally owns the Oriente at Barcelona.

Set in an elegant space adorned with lovely paintings, the Insolit BCN restaurant, with a capacity of 150 persons, offers a buffet breakfast from 7:00 to 11:00 AM and à la carte Mediterranean and Catalan specialties for lunch from 1:30 to 3:30 PM and dinner between 8:30 and 10:30 PM. At midday, you can choose between the 11 pound express menu (free buffet with cold and hot starters, a drink and desserts) and the brewery menu at 15 pounds (with an additional hot meal à la carte). The buffet is varied and excellent. Dinner can be enjoyed à la carte. You can sip countless cocktails at the Golden piano bar of the lobby decorated with carpets and elegant chairs from 7:00 AM to midnight. In the evenings a pianist treats you to good sound from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
