In the Gothic neighbourhood, on the Calle Ferran linking the famous Ramblas and the San Jaume square, not far from the Cathedral in the heart of Barcelona, between the Liceu and Jaume I subway stations. The Barcelona airport lies 9 miles away, barely a 25 minute drive.

Situated not far from the famous Ramblas avenue, the Rialto hotel runs a stunning restaurant set up in some sort of crypt. It equally houses the sumptuous Miro suite, an imperial suite with its adorned ceiling and its original mosaic floor. The hotel owns a small business centre with a computer connected to the Internet (around 2 pounds for 10 minutes) and a printer. Animals are accepted with no additional payments.

This 3* hotel actually houses a jewel, the Miro suite worthy of the most beautiful palaces and named in honour of the illustrious painter born on the premises. A machine offering refreshments and snacks can be found on the 5th floor close to Room 502.

Fitted out with a lovely straight-grained wooden floor, the Rialto's rooms are simple but very properly laid out. They contain flat satellite TV (20 channels), two separate beds, an office desk, an armchair, an abstract painting to brighten up the decor, a keyed safe (for 1.5 pounds per day), individual airconditioning, direct international phone line, with free Wifi access and a small balcony. A small bathroom contains a bathtub fitted with a flexible shower (or plain shower depending on the room), non-separate toilets, a hair dryer and hospitality products. For those with the means (185 pounds per night), you can choose the magnificient Miro suite with its original mosaic floor and its equally original ceiling dating back to the 18th century with splendid paintings and ornaments. The suite is fitted out with a secretaire, mini-bar fridge, wooden furniture lined with flowers, an elegant lounge, a large wooden cupboard rising up to the ceiling, all adorned with photos of the renowned Spanish painter Joan Miro.

A member of the Spanish Gargallo hotel group, the Rialto offers 202 rooms spread out in a historic 6-storey building with a lovely façade and served by an elevator. Open throughout the year, it has a full accommodation capacity of 462 clients. Built in 1824 and renovated in 2007, the Rialto offers a limited number of facilities but runs a magnificient restaurant set up in the vaulted cellars dating back to the 18th century.

The stunning Miro restaurant with a capacity of 120 persons is set up in the splendid vaulted basements of the building dating back to the 18th century, a veritable crypt!!! It offers an excellent Catalan cuisine. Set against a medieval background, breakfast is ready from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM lunch from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM and dinner from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. In a specially designed hall, you can take your buffet breakfast. Open from 8:00 AM to 11:00 pm and equally set up in a fabulous vaulted hall, the bar proudly displays its Iberian ham hanging from the ceiling. The hall houses a large TV screen.
