It is located on the oceanfront, 6.2 miles away from Flacq. To reach the hotel from the airport ( located 34 miles away), you will need a 1-hour drive.

Establishment unique in its type, the Coco Beach is recommended for young clients that wish to spend active vacations. Built in 1996, the Coco Beach is a large complex that stretches out in a 37 hectares park shaded by coconut trees. It is composed of a central building shaped as a chapiter, extended in both sides by a semi-circular wing. It offers a total of 333 rooms, including 204 in the main building and 129 in the residential villas. Be careful : this very colorful decoration may not be appreciated by everybody. From the lobby, you will find yourself in a ''Disneyland'' atmosphere : floor, ceiling and rattan furniture are decorated with patterns in bright colors.

All the rooms overlook the gardens. If possible, choose a room located at the 1st floor of the villas. Fitted out with a framework ceiling, it will be a lot less sober than the others. It will also allow to accommodate 2 adults and 2 young chilldren. As for the furniture, the emphasis is put on functionality. Large storage spaces occupy the wall in front of the bed. The bathrooms offer a bathtub and a hair-dryer. Air-conditioning, balcony or terrace, minibar, telephone and satellite TV are also offered in all the rooms.

Considering the size of the complex, the main restaurant offers the same type of size: no waiting line then, but the room quickly becomes noisy once populated. On the other hand, the buffets are perfect. Variety, bundance and quality are the keywords. For breakfast, you can choose all the options, from fruits and cereals to omelettes prepared on request, including pancakes and nuts or raisins breads. In the evening, you can treat yourself in the same way, if you feel like eating pasta, pizza, fish or meat. Once you come in, several ''show cooking'' stands make your mouth water. And the dessert is excellent too: pastries, creams, custard tarts and ice creams will delight the gourmands.

The Coco Beach opens on 4 beaches stretching out on a total of 1 mile. Of different sizes and quality services, they are separated from each other by rocky promontories. If you want to be closer to the biggest beach, you should stay in a villa. But if you want to be farther from the beach, ''Palm Beach'' cove, located near the left wing of the main building is just perfect. Sunshades and deckchairs allow you to lounge facing the turquoise and ultramarine lagoon. But the hotel offers also many water sports activities : nautical ski, sailing, windsurfing, kayak, pedalo and glass-bottomed boat are included. For an additional fee, you can practice parasailing, diving and underwater walking.
