Hotel La Revellata

Just behind Calvi old town, behind the citadel, on the coast road to Porto.

The hotel's owner is from an old Corsican family who says what he thinks but who is also extremely friendly. The La Revellata doesn't have a restaurant but provides a breakfast service in a room behind a bar. There's a lot of space but it's a bit dull, without any direct sun light.

Built in the sixties just behind Calvi old town, the La Revellata is a simple hotel whose owners are friendly and welcoming. With 43 bedrooms, perched on a relief and separated from the sea by a road, the hotel doesn't stand out neither for its sea view (only about ten rooms have a direct view) nor for its facilities. Its decoration is a bit old fashioned but it is extremely clean and the comfort of the rooms is definitely worth a 3* level. In fact, a simple but pleasant pied-a-terre just a few steps away from Calvi old town.

The rooms of the La Revellata are large, have simple decoration and have good amenities: telephone, television, wardrobe, air conditioning and bathroom. There are several different lay outs and capacities, but they all have a balcony/terrace with table and chairs.
