Hotel Costa Calma Beach

The Costa Calma Beach is ideally located right on the verge of the sea in the heart of Costa Calma, a summer resort in the southeast of Fuerteventura. About 50 for transfer from the airport, about 43.5 miles north.

The clients of the Costa Calma Beach have access to the facilities of the Nautilus Beach. Very practical, you can withdraw money from the ATM machine located in the hallway of the hotel. To relax, go to the beauty centre to enjoy a free bubbling bath and two saunas, between two massages (extra fee). The kids have every reason to be happy, thanks to a well-equipped mini-club and a playground in the sand with slides, seesaw and even an assault course! As most of the Canarian hotels, the Rio Calma is open all year round, thanks to the eternal spring climate that reigns in these islands.

The  Costa Calma Beach is a large light pink building of 3 levels with 556 rooms. The large lobby is lofty and well-decorated, with two panoramic elevators, ivy climbing along the walls, gigantic flower pots and lovely basins. Open from 7 AM to 7 PM, two 4.92 feet depth pools, separated by a waterfall ,are crossed over by a bridge with a snack bar in the middle. Children have their small rectangular pool of 20 feet depth. Beach chairs, sunshades and showers are available all around the large solarium deck, as well as a huge chess board game. You also have access to the Nautilus Beach pool - 5.5 feet in depth and a ramp allows accessibility for handiccaped people. The beauty salon and the gym centre, Aura, offers massages, chocolate treatments, facials, manicures, pedicures, a hairdresser, two saunas, jacuzzi and a fitness centre. The rooms have tiled floors, a satellite TV (20 channels), two separate beds, a desk, an armchair, a round wooden table, two paintings, a large balcony fitted with a drying-line, a safe (for a fee), a refrigerator, a direct international telephone line and individual air-conditioning. The bathroom is clean and well-decorated, including a bathtub with handle door equipped with a flexible shower, welcome products, a hair-dryer, a bidet and separate toilets. For those wanting even more space, the hotel also offers 19 suites and 75 apartments.

The restaurant the "Tindaya" offers a buffet with international cuisine for breakfast from 8 AM to 10:30 AM and from 6 PM to 9:30 PM for dinner, with show cooking. Two services are offered in the evening: from 6 PM to 7:30 PM and then from 8 PM to 9:30 PM. But there is no a la carte restaurant. At noon, the pool bar, La Choza, offers snacks from 12:30 PM to 2 PM. For gourmands, there is a break for tea and small cookies between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM. You will have the chance to make a toast at the pool snack bar, under the straw hut of the beach bar and in the evening, at the salon bar ,Garbi, listening to live music!

The Costa Calma Beach offers direct access to the beach, perfectly equipped with beach chairs, sunshades, showers and toilets, it is also supervised. The beach bar offers numerous cocktails and the children can have fun at the mini-club, while the adults play beach volleyball between two baths in the heavenly sea. The hotel is located at the edge of an impressive row of hotels that borders the huge beach of Costa Calma. Here the sea water is clean and chemically-tested. We recommend that you wear beach sandals because there are rocks and pebbles.
