Hotel Sunrise Taro Beach

The Sunrise Taro beach is ideally located right on the verge of the sea in the heart of Costa Calma, summer resort in the south-east of Fuerteventura. About 50 minutes drive from the airport, located about 43.5 miles north.

Member of the Canarian hotelier group Sunrise Beach Hotels, the Sunrise Taro beach, built in 1985, was seriously renovated in 2006. As most of the Canarian hotels, it is open all year round thanks to an eternal spring climate that reigns on these islands. Sports lovers can try one of the 5 tennis courts located in the neighbour Monica Beach, also member of the hotelier group Sunrise beach Hotels. For relaxation and leisure, you can choose between the fitness room, sauna and a pleasant mini-golf, all located at the Monica Beach hotel.

The Sunrise taro Beach is composed by a large 3 level building, paint in sandy colours, completed by bungalows spread out in a plesant tropical garden, that goes directly in a large fine sandy beach. Open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, the pool reigns in the middle of a large solarium patio equipped by beach chairs, showers and changing cabins. The towels are available to pick up at the reception averaging a deposit of 8 pounds sterling. Children are offered a small round pool of 14 inches depth.

The 293 rooms of Sunrise Taro Beach, carefully floral decorated are equipped by a satellite TV (17 channels), a big safe with electronic code large enough to fit a laptop (15.5 pounds a week), a ceiling fan, direct international telephone line, a refrigerator and a patio fitted out with a dry line. The pretty small bathroom includes a bathtub equipped by a handle door and a flexible shower, non separate toilests, welcome products, handkerchiefs and a hair dryer. More spacious, the 75 suites offer also a living-room with two convertible sofas, for kids for instance.

The restaurant of Sunrise taro Beach offers a buffet formula with an international cuisine for breakfast from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM and for dinner from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with show cooking. Two services are offered in the evening: from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM and then from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The restaurant can welcome up to 350 guests, which is reasonable when the hotel is full. But there is no a la carte restaurant. At noon, the pool bar offers snacks from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM. You will have the chance to toast glasses at the pool snack bar, under the straw hut of the beach bar and the evening at the salon bar Betancuria, confortably seated on the patio or inside on one of the zebra armchairs listening to live music!

The Sunrise Taro Beach offers a direct access to the beautiful Costa Calma beach, perfectly equipped by beach chairs, sunshades, showers and toilets; the beach it is also supervised. The beach bar offers numerous cocktails and the children can have fun at the mini-club, while the adultes can play beach volleyball between two baths in a heavenly sea. A little further, you can find a diving centre, a surfing school as well as a boat club that allows you to practice windsurfing. An impressive row of hotels borders this enormous beach where you can have all the space you want to lay out. Here the sea water is cleaned and chemical tested.
