CharmThe Club Siroco is a pleasant 2 star establishment offering the services you would expect of a hotel in this category. The small complex comprises 175 guest rooms which are actually more like apartments. The whole complex is focused around the small swimming pool, which can get rather noisy during high season. Other than this slight drawback, you'll probably find you get good value for your money here, as the hotel also offers many facilities not generally found in hotels of this category.
The hotel is located at the heart of the Costa Teguise.
The hotel attracts a primarily English, family-based clientele, so if you're not a fan of being surrounded by Brits when on holiday, you'd best look elsewhere.
Of the 175 bungalow-style apartments located in a series of 1 and 2 storey blocks, 154 have one bedroom and 22 have two or more. The decor is very basic but everything is impeccable and the amenities are exactly what you would expect of a 2 star hotel. The one-bedroom apartments have a floor area of around 25m² and each has either its own garden, in the case of those on the ground floor, or a small terrace overlooking the pool. The mattresses were recently changed and are therefore in a good condition, whilst amenities include a television and a telephone which enables you to receive external calls direct to your room without having to go through reception, provided, of course, that the caller knows your extension number. In a nutshell, we'd say that all of the services and facilities offered here are perfectly decent.
The hotel is comprised of a series of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments housed in 1 and 2 storey blocks featuring traditional island architecture. Having been built in 1988, it was partially renovated in 2008 and offers plenty of facilities to keep the whole family entertained. There is, however, only one main swimming pool, with a special children's section, though we would imagine it gets pretty cramped here when the hotel is running at its full capacity of 400 guests! Outside of peak season it's rather pleasant. The pool is open from 10:00am to 6:00pm. You'll also find a rather impressive mini-golf course which provides fun for the whole family, as well as an outdoor play area for the little ones, pool tables, foosball, a cinema room, a disco, a pool bar, and a beach volleyball court, so you'll have everything you need for a pleasant stay.
The hotel's buffet restaurant serves a different menu every night. The quality of the food isn't the best but there's a reasonable selection and the hotel is prepared to change certain things on request (for vegetarian guests, for example). You won't find any fine cuisine, but then that's to be expected at these prices. An à la carte menu is also available at the pool bar, where you'll find a variety of light meals and snacks on offer.
There is no beach at the hotel itself but the nearest one is just across the road.
