The old Club Med Djerba La Nomade has become Djerba Meridiana with the addition of a trident. This huge, modern club is well designed for families. It has all the components that made the Club Med famous: entertainment, games and sports activities.

Seasonal opening

The establishment changed name and status. Since May 2005, the Djerba Meridiana has had three tridents. The rooms located in the bungalows have been renovated, the rest of the equipment is the same.
Besides its entertainment, the strong point of the Club Med Djerba Meridiana is its thalassatherapy centre. Over 32,280 ft² in size, it has all the necessary facilities for different treatment programs: discovery, vitality, tonic form, beauty/well-being, slimness, back, pass'form. Depending on the cure, it can last 2 to 12 days.

Enlarged in 2000, the Club Med La Meridiana became a "three trident" resort in 2005. Its 528 rooms are housed in a main building overlooking the swimming pool and bungalows, "menzels" built in pure Tunisian style. Sports facilities are spread out in a large park of many acres. To be closer to the entertainment, choose the rooms located in the central building. It is around the central building that the vast swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace for relaxation is located.

The rooms are simple but well equipped. They have a complete bathroom. 172 to 194 ft² in size, they open onto the swimming pool, the gardens or the "menzels" for most of them. Those overlooking the sea are the club "menzel" of the buildings oriented towards the sea. As for amenities, there is no air conditioning but a simple fan. No television and no telephone. On the other hand, we enjoyed the terraces on the ground level and the wide balconies on the upper floor.

food and drink 6.5 /10

The buffet restaurant is located under a big pergola equipped with tables and chairs of molded plastic. It opens to the swimming pool and the gardens. Varied and generous, the buffet presents salads, pastas, grilled fish or meat, steamed or gratin vegetables, pastries, ice cream and fresh fruits. Two bars complete the setting.

The beach of the Club Med is very huge and equipped with lounge chairs, parasols and a bar. Bring your own beach towel because the Club Med does not loan them. Here, it is possible to sail, windsurf, play beach-soccer and beach-volley.
