Hotel Union Square Inn

At 209 East 14th Street. Between the areas of Greenwich and Gramercy, two blocks from Union Square and NYU (New York University). The hotel is at 18 miles from La Guardia airport, 13 miles from JFK, and 18 miles from Newark. Near metro stations L, 4, 5 and 6.

The hotel has 10 non-smoking rooms. We advise you to choose rooms at the back of the building (with numbers ending in 5 or 6).

A small recent structure in perfect state, the Union Square Inn occupies a small red brick building typical of New York housing with its exterior emergency fire escapes. It has 41 rooms, a small lobby, and an eating area where breakfast is served between 8 AM and 11 AM. Opened in 2000, frequently used by European and American customers (mostly students' families visiting their children), the hotel offers simple amenities and features reduced to the minimum. Basically, a hotel clean, comfortable but without pretension.

215 ft² in size, the rooms at the Union Square are very nice for a hotel of this category. The modern style decor is simple but pleasing, with light walls and wood furniture. The rooms do not have closets, only hangers, a luggage rack, and a chest of drawers for your clothes. They do have television, telephone (Internet connection, and answering machine), and air conditioning. Equipped with showers, the bathrooms are very small and functional.
