Well locatedHolyrood ApartHOTEL is a collection of serviced apartments located in quiet corner of Edinburgh's Medieval Old Town. The self-catering apartments offer a cost-effective solution for families and groups of friends, and best of all; you don't need to worry about cleaning up! The apartments are clean and bright, the rooms spacious and the kitchens all stainless steel and modern.
The apartments are well situated at the bottom of Royal Mile. Close enough to get around easily, but not so close that you can't step out of your front door without being swept up by a herd of tourists. The residential location is quiet but provides a perfect base from which to explore the city. Also, unlike many Edinburgh hotels, the Holyrood apartments have onsite parking, which comes either complementary or at a small charge depending on your package type. Edinburgh's Waverly Station is a ten-minute walk away, and direct airport buses depart regularly from the station, and take around 25 minutes.
Holyrood ApartHOTEL is one of a group of four hotels owned by The Edinburgh Collection including Channings, The Howard and The Old Waverly. The group was founded in 1990, and quickly established itself as one of Edinburgh's leading luxury hotel groups. All four hotels differ in style and have their own unique character, and Holyrood ApartHotel is the most practical of the four, offering a simple but well-kept pied-à-terre at the heart of the city.
Holyrood ApartHOTEL consists of 46 apartments, of which most are two bed apartments (with an additional sofa bed), with nine studios and two penthouse apartments. Three-bed apartments are available for larger groups. Guests can also make use of the hotel's parking lot, and a small gym located in the basement, which has several stations.
Apartments are sleek and modern, if basic, and equipped with all modern amenities including flat-screen TVs, DVD players, iPod docks and high-speed internet. Each two-bed apartment has one bathroom and one shower room, and the kitchens are bright and modern with everything you could need to prepare a meal. Guests can choose between double/twin or twin/twin combinations, and the bedrooms tend to be spacious and sunny, with a simple and modern decor which isn't particularly remarkable.
There is no restaurant at Holyrood ApartHOTEL, but guests are welcomed with a continental breakfast hamper, tea and coffee-making facilities and fresh milk in the fridge on arrival.
