Hotel Club Med Coral Beach

Located oceanfront, in the heart of Coral Beach, a busy area located 3 miles away from Eilat, towards the Egyptian border. Allow about 10 minutes from the airport. If you want to go to Eilat, you can take a taxi from near by.

Built in the early 70s, the Club Med of Eilat represents the ideal vacation club in Israel. A model adopted by more and more hotels offering ''all inclusive'' vacations. But the Club Med is distinguished by the quality of the animations, organized by a team of 70 GO, complete facilities for sport and leisure and a great access to the sea. It is one of the only French speaking clubs in the area.
After being closed for 4 years, the hotel was re-opened in February 2005 after going through a full renovation.

The Club Med Coral Beach includes 283 rooms, spread out between a 9-level tower and an adjoining building. On the ground level, you will find the lobby, the show rooms and the main restaurant.
The lobby is decorated with taste -a lot of wood. The basement offers clubs for kids, by age range and well equipped, a night club and a fitness room with sauna. The outside space is organised around a large pool shapped as an L, surrounded by palm trees and deckchairs, as well as an annex pool and a playground for kids. The clubs are connected to the sport fields and the beach through a gangway.

The rooms of the Club Med Coaral Beach are not large, but comfortable and decorated with care. All of them offer air-conditioning, TV, telephone, a refrigerator  and a safe. Not very large, the bathrooms are clean, coloured and equipped with a bathtub. Some rooms offer also a small balcony, and the upper ones offer a great view of the bay and the mountains. There are also family accommodations - two separated rooms or communicating rooms. You will find 2 categories of rooms , the club room ( without balcony) and a tower room ( with balcony and view of the sea).

Two restaurants are available for the clients of the Club Med. Located near the swimming pool, the main restaurant has a buffet offering a large variety of local and international cusine and homemade bread. A special buffet for kids and babies is available. The decoration is coloured and all made of wood.
Nestling in a very nice sun lounge where the temperatures go up qiukly at the warm times, the second buffet-restaurant offering excellent grilled food, is the only kosher restaurant in Eilat to be right on the beach. As usual with the Club Med, the selection and the quality are great.

Separated from the club by the street that borders the coast, the beach is accessible through a concrete gangway. It offers a stunning panoramic view on the Jordanian mountains; you will also have full facilitites: sunshades, deckchairs, bar, restaurant, windsurfing club.. The water is clear and a simple mask is sufficient to see the corals of the Red sea. A diving centre is also available near by. The shore is rocky, the beach is not supervised and is covered by sand and pebbles.
