Hotel Dan Eilat

In the middle of the summer resort of Eilat, right on the cliff that borders the sea. It takes about 5 minutes from the airport. The hotel is located close to shopping centres, bars, restaurants and all the nocturnal animations of Eilat.

The Dan is one of the four big palaces of Eilat, offering a great location on the verge of the Red sea. Because of its modern decoration, the multimedia game rooms and the wonderful disco, it will mainly delight the young people.

The Dan Eilat is a modern and functional hotel, consisting of an imposing 14-level building shaped like a pyramide. Decorated in a very modern and coloured style, it offers 378 rooms, several restaurants, a kids-club, two game rooms with Playstation and Internet connection, two fitness centres, lots of living rooms and reception rooms and a large disco opening towards the outside. In the middle, in a sunken space, there is a large lagoon pool with rocks, waterfalls, water slide and artificial stream. A kids pool and an outdoors jacuzzi are also available for clients. A second swimming pool, located higher up, offers more peace and quiet and a beautiful view of the sea.

All the rooms have a balcony facing the sea: they are modern, comfortable and colourful. Here you will find air-conditioning, interactive TV, telephone, a safe, facilities for tea and coffee  and a mini-bar. The space is furnished with large mirrors that create an illusion of size. The bathrooms offer a bathtub, separate toilets, a hair-dryer and welcome products, bathrobes and slippers. Besides the standard rooms, the hotel offers different kinds of rooms like the Deluxe (very spacious), family (for 2 adults and up to 3 children), the Terrace Room and the suites with outdoors jacuzzi. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

Several kosher restaurants are also available for the clients inside the Dan Eilat. The main restaurant dining-room, occupying a terrace opening on the swimming pool, offers delicious buffets with Oriental influences for breakfast and dinner. The ''Rotisserie'', with a more intimate atmosphere, offers a French ''a la carte'' cuisine, with mostly grilled foods. Different snack-bars, including the beautiful ''Grotto'' located under an artificial cave close to the swimming pool, serve salads, sandwiches or pizza during the day. The restaurants, including two non-kosher ( Italian and Californian), are also available at the Dan Eilat, on the walkaway cliff that goes along the sea.

The quasi-private beach of the Dan is located close to the hotel, over a sidewalk. The beach is very noisy because of the number of people and the loudspeakers that diffuse continuous music, but they are well fitted out. The deckchairs and the sunshades are available free of charge. You can do lots of paying water sports. The water here is clear and a simple mask will allow you to see the seabed of the Red sea. The shore is however, rocky and surrounded by corals: be careful if you have sensitive feet !
