Hotel Dan Panorama

In the heart of the sea resort of Eilat, along the marina. Allow about 5 minutes from the airport. The hotel is located close to shopping centres, bars, restaurants and all the nocturnal animations of Eilat.

Built in 1998, this establishment is part of the hotel group Dan, present almost everywhere in Israel. Less luxurious than the Dan Eilat, located on the seafront, it offers comfort and modernity and allows the clients to take advantage of the facilities of both hotels. Designed to accommodate families, the Dan Panorama offers two different kids clubs: one for the small kids with games, TV and video; the other one for teenagers with computers and Playstation. The parents can watch them thanks to the cameras connected to the TVs in the rooms.

Overlooking a huge sun lounge, the large hallway of the Dan Panorama delights with its bright, modern style. Two panoramic elevators allow access to the 6 levels of the building where there are 277 rooms. At ground level, you will find a few small shops, large lounge areas with bay windows overlooking the marina, the restaurant and more reception rooms. Located to the side of the building, the swimming pool is accessible through the restaurant or a narrow and not very pleasant corridor. But outside, you will discover a nice space with a large lagoon pool, a small pool for kids, a playground, a spa, a snack-bar and a large solarium with deckchairs and sunshades. Too bad that the airport runaway is located right beside this area !

Spacious and bright, the rooms of the Dan Panorama offer all possible comforts: individual air-conditioning, double-glazing, telephone, safe, a mini-bar and TV equipped with a smart video-camera system so you can see what's happening in the kids clubs. The decoration, with light wooden furniture is both sober and warm. The bathrooms are tiny, but they have a bathtub, hair dryer, welcome toiletries and telephone. All the rooms offer a large balcony with a view of the mountains or the bay. The suites have a terrace with jacuzzi, oriented towards the mountains and...the airport. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

A large restaurant, with Italian decoration, offers an Israeli buffet for breakfast and an international buffet for dinner. The kosher cuisine is made by a French chief and the pastries are homemade. During the day, the Lobby Lounge allows you to eat great simple dishes and excellent desserts. The pool's snack-bar offers grillings and salads in a nice setting.

The clients of the Dan Panorama are offered the seaside facilities of the Dan Eilat free of charge, located about ten minutes walk, on the verge of the Red sea. Well equipped ( free deckchairs and sunshades, bars and restaurants...), the beach is however noisy in high season because of the loudspeakers offering continous music. The water here is very clear but the beach is very rocky. Lots of water sports, like jet ski, upward parachuting or banana can be enjoyed for an extra fee.
