Hotel Reef

Located on the Red sea, in Coral Beach, a busy area located 3 miles away from Eilat, towards the Egyptian border. Allow about 10 minutes for transfer from the airport. A free shuttle and taxis are available nearby.

Small and unpretent?ous, the Reef is one of the few hotels located right on the beach. A privileged setting which explains its popularity despite the old-looking facilities. Young people will find a festive and easy-going atmosphere.

The Reef is a big charming rectangular block, built on the sea. The entrance leads to the reception, a lounging area with a piano and a small bar. The 79 rooms are contained in the 3 levels of the building. At the foot of the hotel, the clients will find a swimming pool surrounded by a few deckchairs. Further on, you will find the restaurant, overlooked by a large concrete terrace, and then the beach. A small supermarket, open 24 hours a day, is available just a few steps away.

Furnished simply, in a Mediterranean style, all the rooms are designed to accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 children thanks to the bed-sofa. They offer surprising comfort for a hotel of this category: central air-conditioning, TV, direct telephone line, a safe and a real refrigerator with kit for tea or coffee. All the rooms have a small bathroom with a bathtub and a hair-dryer - they all have a balcony with a view of the sea and the mountains. A few suites have a jacuzzi and a patio. Room service is available until midnight.

Located outside the main building, close to the beach, the restaurant's room offers a basic setting. A kosher-buffet, combining Israeli and international specialities is served here for breakfast and dinner. A barbecue is organised around the swimming pool several times a week. A snack is also available on the beach during the day. At last, every evening, musical animations are assured at the piano-bar.

Accessible by a stairway, this sandy beach, located on a lower level than the hotel, is large and well equipped. Deckchairs and sunshades are available free of charge. The sport lovers will find a club for windsurfing and they can scuba dive nearby. If the water here is mainly clear, the beach is very rocky - you are in the heart of a coral preserve. A simple mask will allow you to admire the richness of the underwater fauna and flora.
