Hotel Aziza

On the seaside, in the hotel zone of Hammamet, 2 miles from downtown. The transfer from Tunis airport (located 45 miles away), count 45 min  for the trip.

The entertainment at the Aziza is light and includes sports activities (beach volley, water polo, aerobics) and themed evenings (karaoke). It is a compromise between a club formula and a traditional hotel, to spend lively and relaxing vacations.

Opened in '92, the Aziza includes a five-story building including 218 rooms (3 suites.) Half of the rooms have a view of the sea (some of them laterally), the others of the garden.. The spaces for relaxation are found around a beautiful 1640 ft² swimming pool: They are well equipped (umbrellas, lounge chairs with mattresses) and sufficiently shaded. A thalasso center, the Biorivage, offers different treatments in the rooms located around a patio with arches. Equipment provides treatments like hydromassages, showers with affusion jets, algotherapy and pressotharapy. A marine course (seawater, heated swimming pool with jets and currants) complete the features of the thalasso.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable and are soberly furnished with contemporary style furnishings. they have a balcony, a mini-bar, adjustable air conditioning, satellite television, and telephone. Bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub, and a hair-dryer Toilets are separate.

Meals are served in buffets in a turquoise blue and white decor which follows onto a big terrace over the sea. The dishes, with variety and quality, offer a cuisine of international flavour, with Tunisian and Italian specialties. An à la carte restaurant is also available, as well as a barbecue snack near the swimming pool.

The beach is small but nice. It is well equipped with thatch huts, lounge chairs and showers. Nautical sports included are sailing, pedalo and windsurfing. A nautical base close by allows you to practice waterskiing and parasailing at an extra charge.
