Hotel El Mouradi Beach

On the seaside, in the hotel zone of Hammamet, 4 miles from downtown. For the transfer from Tunis airport (located 47 miles away), allow about 1h 15 min of travelling.

The entertainment at the Abou Nawas is light and includes sports activities and themed evenings (music, folklore.) It is a compromise between a club formula and a traditional hotel, to spend lively and relaxing vacations.

Built in '85 and renovated several times, the Abou Nawas has 2 buildings with 198 rooms in total. the decor, sober and refined, is particularly successful. We enjoyed very much the patio with its mosaic adorned columns and its fountain in the center, as well as the living areas around it. Let us mention also the gardens stretching over 7.5 acres from the swimming pool to the beach : they are green, full of flowers, shaded, and they give a lot of charm to the place.

Rooms are nice, spacious and comfortable. The furniture is varnished wood brightened up with pastel colour fabrics. They overlook the gardens, with a view of the sea (from the front or the side) for half of them. All have a balcony, a mini-bar, adjustable air conditioning, satellite television, and telephone.

The restaurant buffet offers, a great choice of different dishes in a bright and refined atmosphere. the cuisine, very tasty, has an international inspiration, but Tunisian specialties take the place of honor. Furthermore, an à la carte restaurant and a splendid panoramic snack on the seashore, allow you to vary the pleasures.

The beach of the Abou Nawas is one of the most comfortable in the north of Hammamet: it is not very big, but it offers good, quality sand and clear water. Features are sufficient: showers, umbrellas and lounge chairs are available. Lazing about or swimming without any worries. On the water sports front, you can practice surfboarding and pedalo.
