In the zone of Yasmine Hammamet, 6 miles from the town centre. For the transfer from Tunis airport (located 40 miles away), allow  45 min  for the trip.

The Karthago is equipped with a nice thalassotherapy centre welcoming guests who want to recondition their health. There are many treatments: massages, foot reflexology, lymphatic draining, jet showers... They can be à la carte or in 4 to 9 days cure. The hotel has also a mini-club for children from 4 to 12 years old during the summer vacations.
To vary sports pleasures, the Karthago offers a skating rink.
For shopping; as the hotel is located close to the medina Yasmine Hammamet, you can enjoy the many boutiques of its souk.

Opened in 2002 and renovated in 2004, the Karthago hotel has an architecture entirely copied from cruise liners. Located in the heart of the beach station of Yasmine Hammamet, it can accommodate 650 people. Its welcoming hall, very spacious, feels cold, however, because of the height of the room, and the light colours of the walls. The outdoor space is well furnished around a swimming pool equipped with a pool for children.

The hotel has 300 rooms and 12 suites, the majority of which overlook the swimming pool and the seafront. All accommodation is equipped with a bathroom with bathtub and hair dryer, satellite television, safe, individual air conditioning, mini-bar, telephone with direct international line and a desk with Internet connection. The decor with mostly beige colour offers simplicity, sobriety and good taste.

The main restaurant, the Phénicien, has a big yellow and red room able to accommodate 650 people, whereas the terrace has a capacity of 300. Food is presented buffet style with many varieties, breakfasts are excellent. Themed dinners are organised in the evening: fish, Tunisian, Italian dinner buffets according to the evening. The rest of the time, food is international. The Phénicien is open from 6 am to 10 am, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, and 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm. During the high season, barbecues are organised at the swimming pool's bar.

The beach is located in front of the hotel. However, there is a road to cross to get there. The beach slopes down gently to the sea. It is equipped with umbrella and lounge chairs as well as a bar. It offers a nice, relaxing environment and allows the practice of nautical sports (with supplement.)
