Hotel NH Parque Central

The NH Parque Central is a few minutes from the cathedral's square and the Malecon on foot, next to the Inglaterra and 20 minutes from the airport.

Formerly the Hotel Siboney, the NH Parque Central is managed today by the European group Golden Tulip. The hotel plans to add a children's club, a sauna and a beauty parlour. The entrance is reserved for tourists, Cubans are sent out.

The NH Parque Central's facade has managed to keep the style of beginning of the century colonial palaces, whereas inside, everything is brand new. The hotel opened in May 1999 after successful renovation work. On the roof its swimming pool is one of the most beautiful pools in Havana. The lobby is big and bright. A business centre is open for everyone: for sending emails and access to internet.

278 spacious rooms with tartan bed covers, green carpet, dark wood furniture, you would think you were in a chalet with this classical decoration. Great advantage, lots of place to put things! The bathrooms have a shower and a bath as well as many toiletry products, there is even a razor! And for the amenities, air conditioning, minibar, direct telephone and television, everything is there! Some rooms have a balcony and some offer an unimpeded view over the square.

The restaurant buffet serves a delicious breakfast between 7am and 10am: orange juice, pancakes, pains au chocolat, croissants, fruits, cheese, bacon and eggs. The restaurant is large and comfortable. The must: have a drink on the hotel's terrace, with a view over the roofs in Old Havana and the sea on the horizon.
A copious buffet is served in a blue walled room decorated with a large fresco and columns. A la carte restaurant only in the evening where a gourmet cuisine is served.
