Hotel Hilton Resort Hurghada

The hotel is located 4 miles away from the airport, 7.5 miles from Sakkala, one of the tourist areas , 9 miles away from Dahar, the secondary centre of Hurghada. Among the three Hilton hotels in this tourist centre, the Resort facilities is located between the sea and the road. Located about less than 1 miles away from the shopping area, it is entirely dedicated to tourism.

Pets are allowed in the hotel, which is a rare in this region. Customers of the Hilton Resort are mainly German. You need to cross a road to get to the sports facilities. Conference rooms are offered for the guests' convenience.

Opened in 1995 and renovated in 2004, the Hilton has seven one-story buildings (the main building has an additional floor) located on a 60,000 m² area, where the landscaping of the gardens are very original. At the center of the large, bright reception area, large comfortable sofas welcome customers. The hotel has three swimming pools. The main swimming pool is 850 m² in area, heated in winter and integrated into the central structure to become a covered space bathed in daylight. The path leading toward the beach is pleasant - there are various water pools that make the walk to the sea very pleasant. The terrain is crossed by one of the main roads of Hurghada, thus dividing the hotel into two parts. The first part overlooks the sea. The second part is reserved for hotel villas and is surrounded by gardens; it is located closer to the sports facilities. A large space is devoted to the fitness club. The club for children does not provide many games. It is a small room at the other end of the hotel where parents have to stay with their offspring.

All 392 rooms (including 33 suites) are decorated with simplicity and offer amenities such as individual air conditioning, soft bedding, television (29 channels), telephone for direct overseas calls, a mini-bar (empty), a safe (free) and a balcony or a terrace with furniture. Only 40 rooms have sea views. The others overlook the gardens and the ponds. The rooms have a minimum of 37 m² in area. The tiled bathroom is equipped with skin care products and a shower or a bathtub with plug and bath mats. The hair dryer is placed in the room or obtained upon request at the reception, which also provides a common safe (free).

The main restaurant, located on the mezzanine above the lobby, offers carefully selected international cuisine in buffet style at each meal (from 6.30 a.m. to 11 a.m.; from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.; from 6 p.m. to 12 p.m.) There are three restaurants, including one at the beach, serving Italian specialities or fish for lunch. The Italian restaurant is vast and has columns. Pasta and pizza are prepared in front of customers so they can watch their meals being prepared from their seats. There are six bars and snack-bars, including one in the lobby that is open 24 hours a day, a nightclub and an English pub which overlooks the swimming pool. Wherever you are in the hotel, you can quickly find a drink.

Separated from the hotel and its swimming pool by beautifully landscaped gardens, the 217 m long beach is one of the most popular in Hurghada. Its sand is fine, and the peaceful beach is lined with palm trees; sunshades, deckchairs and showers are provided. It also has a diving club and a marina coming off on one side.
