Hotel Podstine

The Podstine is located on Hvar Island, at a 10 minute walk from the centre of Hvar. The city of Hvar is located at the western end of Hvar Island. The hotel is nestled in a charming small cove.

For an extra charge, a shuttle service, minibus or boat, is available for travelling to and from the hotel and the city centre.

The lobby echos the atmosphere, with a sea view and a decor in warm tones. The bar is on the lobby level. The hotel is decorated in a modern, pleasant style. It is located in an arboretum of citrus, palm, and pine trees, offering quiet and coolness. Some activities are available near the hotel: tennis, scuba diving, etc.

The 42 rooms, distributed among 2 storeys, are decorated in a style mixing modern influences with exposed stone. The rooms are bright and feature modern comforts: television, telephone, air conditioning, mini-bar, and heater. All rooms have a balcony and a sea view. The bathrooms feature a shower, complimentary toiletries, and hair dryer.

The restaurant is located on the lower level, below the lobby, and has a pleasant, shady, multi-level terrace with palm trees. The sea view is magnificent. The dining room is small, with large bay windows overlooking outside. Breakfast is served buffet-style. A piano bar provides relaxing music and offers a sea view.

There is a small concrete beach at the foot of the hotel. Sunshades and deckchairs are available. This cove surrounded by rocks is ideal for a nap under pine trees. A scuba diving centre offers sea outings.
