Right on the verge of the sea, on the beach of Figueretes, 2,000 feet from Eivissa's downtown, where you can get in 15 minutes walking. The airport is located 3 miles away, about 5 minutes driving.

A member of the Mallorcan hotel group BG Hotels likeClub Portinatx, the Nautico Ebesco hotel offers a very ''light'' animation during the day, two shows per week and dancing evenings every day. It is open from May to October. If you are coming by car, be aware that there is no parking lot nearby and that it is quite difficult to find a place. Close to the beach of Figueretes, not far from the neighbouring hotel Ibiza Playa, we recommend you to try great tapas at the Croissant Playa, owned by Tina and Olivier, two French people.

Built in 1958 and completely renovated in 2000, the Nautico Ebesco hotel offers 123 rooms, spread out in a long 4 level beige building with two elevators. You have to cross over the pedestrian promenade to find a large rectangular pool on the seafront of about 1,600 square feet and 100 inches deep, open from 9.00am to 7.00pm, surrounded by two solarium sundecks equipped with deckchairs, sunshades and showers as well as a pool for kids 24 inches deep. The decoration is fashionable and smooth. However, a special effort has been done concerning the arrangement of the outside facilities.

Of an appropriate size and covered with a tiled floor, only 40% of the rooms of the Nautico Ebesco offer a beautiful view of the sea from their large fitted out balcony. All have a small but fully furnished bathroom, including a bathtub without a handle and fitted out with a fixed shower, a toilet, a bidet and two soaps, but no hair-dryer. You will also find a direct telephone line, adjustable air-conditioning, doubled by a ceilling fan, a safe located under the desk (?14.50 or £11.50 a week), as well as a small elevated satellite TV offering 13 channels. You should ask for the remote control at the reception desk against a deposit of ?20 (£16).

Located in an isolated but well decorated dining room, the hotel's restaurant (150 guests capacity) offers an international cuisine with a Balearic or Caribbean theme on Thursdays. Drinks are chargeable and the buffets, with show-cooking, are usually composed of 4 starters, 4 dishes and 5 different desserts. The restaurant is open from 8.00am to 10.00am for breakfast and from 7.30pm to 10.00pm for dinner. Only a snack bar of 140 places is open for lunch. The bar serves numerous cocktails from 9.00am to 1.00am.

Located 650 feet away on the right when you go out of the hotel, the beach of Figueretes is a nice and quite large portion of sand and clear water. It is equipped with showers, pergola sunshades and deckchairs you can rent. A cruise on board of a glass-bottomed boat will bring you up to the Island of Formentera that you can see in the distance, as well as 9 small islands. Not very windy, this beach is unfortunately quite noisy because of the planes that land at just a few miles away from it, on the international runaway. The municipality cleans the sand two times a week. Along the sidewalk that borders it, you will find lots of bars, restaurants and small shops.
