Hotel Victoria

656 feet from the sea, in the bay of Talamanca, 2 miles from the capital, Eivissa (you have buses available every hour, up to 11:10 PM). The airport is located 6 miles away, about 15 minutes driving on the highway. Good to remind you about Le Pacha, a well known world-wide night spot.

Victoria doesn't offer animations during the day, but holds two dancing nights per week, one with orchestra and one with disks. There is no housekeeping performed on Mondays since all the personnel are off for rest. The hotel is open from May to October.

Built in 1970 and renovated in 1995, the Victoria hotel consists of a 5 level building shaped like an ''L'', serviced by 2 elevators. It has an accommodation capacity of 266 people in 140 rooms. In the centre of the grounds is a small outdoor pool surrounded by beach chairs. Even re-done, the decoration still looks quite old and sad. Also, note that: there is also a mini-golf well fitted out in the garden of the hotel.

With an average size of 161 feet², most of the 140 rooms offer a view of the sea. Their basic equipment includes a bathroom for the double rooms and a shower for the individual rooms, they don't offer air-conditioning nor ventilation, a mini-bar or TV. Only a telephone, a paying safe and a small balcony are supplied to balance a little the lack of other equipments. The decoration is extremely unattractive.

With a welcoming capacity of 280 guests, the Victoria hotel restaurant is air-conditioned. The buffets, offering a basic international cuisine, are open from 8:15 AM to 10 AM for breakfast, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM for lunch and from 7:30 to 9:30 PM for dinner. The decoration of the dining room is nondescript. Beverages are included in the package, based on the agreement with the operating tour.

The Talamanca beach, 656 feet away from the hotel, offers a satisfactory bath, excepting the seeweeds on the beach, that the municipality doesn't seem to clean up. In return, the beach offers a good overall condition due to the length of the beach and the water limpidness. To access the beach from the hotel, you need to use a small pathway with a road to cross over.
