International StandardWith its two panoramic towers, three football arenas, eleven restaurants and innumerable illuminated lifts, the Adakule offers a vast range of activities in a slightly off-beat setting...
By the sea, 2 miles north of Kusadasi (20 mn by foot), not far from Le Zinos and Le Korumar hotels. It is located 50 miles from Izmir airport (for the transfer allow 45 minutes).
Open year-round. The number of activity leaders for the kids club depends on demand. You do not need to be resident to enjoy the sunset from the top of the panoramic towers.
Built in 90 and renovated recently, the Adakule is formed of 350 rooms set in a 10-storey building that is overlooked by two Asian-inspired panoramic towers. Nestled at the end of a creek, the hotel faces the sea and has a facade that is massive and sober at the same time. The same could not be said for the interior decor, which is a bit incongruous, with its dominant pinks and lashings of marble. From the tops of the towers, a night bar and restaurant offer a superb panorama over the Aegean Sea, Kusadasi and the Greek island of Samos. In terms of equipment, there is an indoor pool, tennis court, large playground for children, and for footie fans, 3 pitches, 2 of which have a natural lawn.
The rooms, in yellow, turquoise and pink tones, are large and comfortable. Three quarters of them have a sea view; the others overlook Kusadasi. They have a carpet, bathroom with bath and hairdryer, 2 telephones, satellite television (loads of channels), a safe (extra charge), minibar and adjustable air conditioning system. Room service serves meals 24 h a day. You will deplore the lack of balcony and poor soundproofing (the rooms overlook the lobby which is extremely resonant).
No fewer than 10 restaurants (3 a la carte, 7 buffets, and each has its own cuisine) with a total capacity of 2,000 in the hotel! In the main restaurant, which opens onto a large terrace overlooking the bay, meals are served as buffets. Sat at large pink round tables, you can try a wide variety of dishes and international and local delicacies.
The private beach below is reached by stairs or lift. Covered in thick sand, it unfortunately does not have much space for a hotel of this size. The natural configuration of the land means there is no other choice - it has been extended with a concrete jetty, which is practical but unsightly. In any case all the facilities are there: loungers, parasols, bar, fish restaurant and diving school. Another good thing in this region is that it is well protected from the wind... and is relatively quiet.
