Hotel Korumar

By the sea, 1 mile north of Kusadasi (20 minutes by foot), not far from the Adakule and Kismet hotels. It is located 43 miles from Izmir airport (for the transfer allow 45 minutes).

Built in 1990 and renovated in 1998, the Korumar has 250 rooms in a modern, immaculately clean 8-storey building, but its interior decor and architecture are a bit impersonal. Built on a rock, the complex has a beautiful panorama over the Aegean Sea on one side and Kusadasi on the other. In terms of leisure facilities, there is a very nice creek, a large pool with bar, another pool in the fitness club, a tennis court, and a games area for children that directly overlooks the sea.

The rooms are comfortable and bright. Half of them have a sea view; the others overlook the road to the rear of the hotel. They have a carpet, large balcony, bathroom with bath and hairdryer, telephone, satellite television (loads of channels), a free safe, minibar and adjustable air conditioning system. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

Meals are served in the form of a buffet in a restaurant with a large terrace offering a very beautiful view of the sea. You can try a variety of dishes and choose from international and local dishes. There is also an a la carte seafood restaurant.

Steps take you down to a private creek and a very large pontoon just below the hotel. Although there is a dreadful lack of sandy beach, the setting is still pleasant, intimate and very well sheltered from the wind. The facilities include sunshades, deckchairs and a snack bar. A diving and watersports centre is nearby.
