Hotel Kustur

Located by the sea, in a hotel area 2.5 miles from Kusadasi. It is located 60 miles from Izmir. To reach the hotel from Izmir airport, located 46 miles away, allow 1 hour.

The Club Kustur, despite the large signposts, is quite hard to find. The half-board package is best, since there are lots of cheap restaurants nearby.

Built in 1968 and renovated in 1999, the Club Kustur has about forty bungalows and a series of 2-storey buildings housing a total of 566 rooms. With a capacity of 1,300 people in high season, the large club is set in the heart of a pretty garden of orange and palm trees. In terms of equipment, there is plenty to satisfy sports and watersports fans, as well as those who like nightlife, thanks to the open-air disco located by the beach.

The bungalows, which are relatively close to one another, all have terraces and private gardens. The rooms are simply decorated but offer a pleasant setting. They have a bathroom with shower and hair-dryer. Note the lack of air conditioning. On arrival, the Club provides a bottle of mineral water, one of wine, and a platter of fruit.

In the main restaurant, there is a community vibe: clients are invited to share tables that seat 14 people. There are buffets of international dishes, though the range is limited. For a more intimate atmosphere, you can always count on the "Bistro" (grills and Turkish specialities).

Separated from the hotel by a road, you get to the public beach of the Club Kustur via an underground passage. Once there, you will be glad to sink your feet into fine, clean sand, and use the numerous parasols, loungers (extra cost) and showers located close to a bar. The watersports are managed by an independent owner.
