CharmA great deal of charm, human scale structure, quality accommodation and a "feet in the sand" restaurant. The Pansea is a true peaceful haven, a few miles from the centre of Kuta.
7 miles to the south of Kuta, on Jimbaran beach. 5 miles from the airport, or approximately 10 minutes.
Jimbaran beach is well known for its seafood restaurants. Given the proximity of these restaurants to Pansea, we advise that you give them a try.
The Pansea is one of the sure shots within the region of Jimbaran. Small sized structure of 42 bungalows, the hotel is not lacking in aces up its sleeve. The hotel's park in particular, on the edge of the beach, gives off an intimate feel, completely dedicated to calm and relaxation. The hotel's communal areas, restaurants and lobby are largely open to the outdoors (sea and pool) and welcome you with a warm atmosphere thanks to the omnipresent use of teak. Equally, the hotel's charming bungalows ensure total privacy for their occupants due to the enclosing walls. In short, the Pansea is a hotel that runs against the trend of the larger hotels of the region, and it is highly recommended. Obviously, this is not a hotel we would frequent for sporting reasons, as there is a lack of sporting facilities here.
The Pansea's bungalows, on a stretch of land set back from the beach, are decorated in an elegant straightforward style, inspired by Balinese decorative traditions. Separated from outside by walls, the bungalows contain a garden with furnished terrace as well as a bedroom of approximatley 540 ft². Comfort is a key concern, with 31 channel satellite TV, fully stocked mini bar, safe and individual air conditioning as well as a fan. The bathroom is vast - 107 ft², and boasts a sunken bath and views of the garden thanks to a bay-window (with exterior shower). The hotel's residents benefit from room service available 24 hours.
Dining at the Puri Bali is well known. The beach restaurant, specialising in seafood, is absolutley charming. Its large wooden terrace opening out on to the beach and smaller terraces on the sand is waiting to ensure you enjoy a romantic dining experience. In this restaurant, you can enjoy international specialities, created by a French chef, alongside seafood and of course, Balinese specialities. Wine lovers will be impressed by the ample wine list: French (including Chassagne-Montrachet and Mouton Rotschild), Australian, Italian and Californian. The restaurant is open non-stop from 7 AM to 11 PM.
Jimbaran beach is large, and covered in mid-grade white sand. There is no sailing club, but there are plenty of deckchairs and parasols. The sea is pretty and generally calm, with a few waves (that tend to get larger toward the end of the day).
