Established in the heart of Juan Dolio's tourist area (middle scale), south of the Dominican Republic on the Caribbean coast, the Coral Costa Caribe is located 37 miles from the capital city of Santo Domingo (within 50 minutes). Las Americas international airport of Santo Domingo is located 22 miles away (half an hour).

The Coral Costa Caribe is a good family hotel located in the seaside resort of Juan Dolio. Its architecture, presenting no particular charm, fits into a pleasant environment, but the beach is not the most beautiful in the Dominican Republic. The advantage of the Coral Costa Caribe: its casino area open until 4 o'clock in the morning, with its beautiful fountain and flowers surrounding it.

The Coral Costa Caribe, built in 1995 and renovated in 2004, consists of four buildings painted pink and green surrounded by gardens with lush vegetation, housing a total of 565 rooms. The advantage of this hotel is found in its friendly, family atmosphere. The services (swimming pools and restaurants) and the beach are near the rooms. Note the promiscuity, especially between the main swimming pool (with its bar in the water) and the beach. However, cross the main street of Juan Dolio, then the parking area, where you will find the sports centre, which is quite eccentric. And there are vast facilities for tennis , football, golf, etc. (all inclusive). But signs, translated into French, spare you any chance of getting lost.

The Coral Costa Caribe offers spacious rooms, which are clean and fully equipped, in conformity with international standards: a bathroom with a bathtub, a hair dryer, air conditioning, direct dial telephone for international calls, satellite TV and a safe (for extra payment). There is no mini-bar, only a refrigerator. The corridors in the buildings seem a bit too long. The lodgings include standard rooms, suites and junior suites.

The four restaurants of the hotel offer quality cuisine. The restaurants serving a la carte are not included in the package. The restaurant serving buffet style, the 24/24 hour snack bar and the two a la carte restaurants serving Italian and Mexican cuisine are included in the package. Customers can choose from five bars. Special mention for the sports bar, open day and night.

The private beach of the Coral Costa Caribe is quite large, bordered by coconut trees and beach uvas, and equipped with deckchairs and sunshades. However, the colour of the sea is far from turquoise blue and is sometimes too windy. The sand is fairly white but not very fine. The sailing club, located in picturesque painted houses, offers many activities. The main spa (only, the sauna is included in the price) is right next to the club, as is the massage zone.
