Hotel Four Seasons Koh Samui

The establishment is on a promontory north-west of Koh Samui island. The airport is half an hour away by car. However, there are only 2.5 miles to go to Nathon, the capital of the island.

It is the hotel that took the shapes of nature and not the opposite. It is then not unusual to see trees through the roofs. The Four Seasons is built in a stair shape. The small lobby of the hotel offers a bird's eye view on the Gulf of Thailand. Those suffering from vertigo should avoid that. A fountain shaped like a water column is installed in the centre of the place opened towards the outside, going through the floor. Here transfers are done by golf carts driven by the hotel's staff. It is a judicious idea, considering the steep slopes all over the paths of the establishment. The infinity pool is downwards, at the same level as the beach. A few wooden beach chairs are installed on one side of the pool, facing the sea. There is an outdoor Balinese-style massage area not far from there.
The hotel spa is built in height, like a traditional Thai village. It is composed of five villas accommodating the treatment rooms.

The 60 grey houses blend perfectly with the luxuriant vegetation. They are all oriented towards the Gulf of Thailand and benefit from a more or less clear view depending on their location. Two grand wooden doors open and you discover a very beautiful place. A beautiful harmony is created by the emerald colours, white walls and dark wood furniture. Big bay window let a beautiful light in the whole place. All is provided for total comfort: air conditioning, TV, safe, minibar with tea and cofee kit, direct international line and 24 hour room service. The marble bathroom opens towards the room. A bathtub is installed opposite a big bay window. The shower is opposite a beautiful indoor garden. Bathrobes, welcome products and hairdryer are also available.

The Four Seasons has two restaurants. The main restaurant, the Lan Tania, has a panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding vegetation. It is open for breakfast and dinner and offers a traditional Thai cuisine as well as international cuisine, especially Italian. The clients can eat in a small room with air conditioning or outdoors, on a huge raw wood terrace. Concerning lunch, it is served at the Pla Pla restaurant, installed by the beach. To have a light meal, in the shade of a parasol.

The establishment has the advantage of benefiting from its own beach. The place is not private but it is impossible to get there through a different path. It looks more like a small cove than a real beach. The place is then protected from strong currents. The water is clear and the sand is fine. Beach chairs are installed opposite the Gulf of Thailand. On site service is provided.
