Located in the Tanjung Rhu Bay, the Four Seasons is a beautiful place. Everything seems to have been built out of excessiveness and elegance. Open since 2005, the hotel was designed by a Thai architect and decorated by the famous Bill Bensley. The place is completely suitable for couples.
To the North East of the Island of Langkawi, the Four Seasons is located twenty-five minutes (22 miles) away from the airport, which is located to the Southwest. It is a neighbour of the Tanjung Rhu hotel. The capital Kuah is 22 miles away from there, opposite the hotel, to the South East of the island.
The water sports club offers many activities. On the other hand, you will not find any motorized water sports. This was the hotel's choice in order to maintain the stillness for its clients on the beach, but also to protect the environment. Moreover, the hotel regularly organises walks in the forest with a botanist guide. He will lead you to discover the often endemic fauna and flora around the hotel.
The Four Seasons has 91 rooms including 68 Melaleuca rooms (one-storey bungalow containing two rooms) and 23 villas facing the beach. The smallest is 68 mē, and it is quite simply superb, thanks to its elegant decoration and the building materials used. Surrounded by wood, the king size occupies a lot of space. The lighting gives off a beautiful softened light. A nice terrace gathers two deckchairs, two chairs and a raw wooden table. You will prefer the rooms on the ground floor if you like big terraces. On the other hand, you will have less privacy since it overlooks the garden. There is nothing to say about the equipment: television, air conditioning, safe, full mini-bar with tea and coffee kit, direct line for international calling and room service 24h a day. Two maid services are scheduled for the morning and the evening. It is rare to find a hotel with marble bathrooms that are so beautiful. The double washbasin is installed in the centre of the room, in the covered part. An outside part also exists, where you will find a bathtub and shower... Finally, you will find a hair dryer, bathrobes and welcome products.
Lost in the middle of 48 hectares of land, the hotel's clients can move around using the golf cart. The architecture and decoration of the Four Seasons is truly successful. Nothing is left to chance: everything is meticulously maintained. No less than 600 people work there!
All the infrastructures are turned towards the sea and built right by the beach. When you arrive in the hotel, you go through several outside rooms which have fireplaces in the centre. In the evening, they are lit. The reception area is set up in a small all-blue room, but clients wait to register in an outside court, made up of two sitting rooms and a huge water lily pond. The decoration is of Moroccan inspiration, adorned with large earthenware pottery. The hotel has two overflow swimming pools, facing the beach: the first is intended for adults, with small Balinese-style cabins, set up along the pond. Couples will thus enjoy maximum privacy. Each cabin has two deckchairs and its own access to the swimming pool. The second swimming pool is adorned with small fountains and several corners for jacuzzis. Raw wood deckchairs are arranged in steps facing the pool.
The hotel's spa is quite simply huge and really magnificent. Six villas are distributed in the garden, others will soon be available. They are all surrounded by overflow ponds. A lot of common areas are provided for relaxing, the location has several couches all around a harmonious pool. The masseuses use products of different nationalities.
The building has three restaurants all built along the beach. The Serai offers innovative Italian cuisine a la carte for lunch and dinner. It also has a buffet-style breakfast. The Ikan Ikan has a menu of seafood-based Malaysian specialities for lunch and dinner. Finally, the Kafe Kelapa, built between the swimming pool and the beach, offers cocktails but also light dishes for lunch. For lovers, the hotel can offer intimate romantic dinners on the beach, with your feet in the sand.
1 mile of beach just for you! Normally, the beaches of Malaysia are completely public. The Four Seasons is fortunate to have its own beach since there is no other way to get to it. In addition, the security guards provide for the clients' tranquillity. The sand looks like flour but it is still a little silty in the water due to the tide. Deckchairs are set up around palm trees in order to protect clients from the sun. Beautiful natural sunshades !
