Hotel Ultramarine

In the town of Le Diamant, L'Ultramarine is located just outside the western end of the village (next to Le Calypso hotel). The capital town Fort-de-France is located 19 miles away and the airport at Le Lamentin is 15 miles away (the transfer takes some 25 minutes).

L'Ultramarine hotel is categorised as a residence and does not provide the same services as a hotel (cleanup is done only once a week).

Isolated at the bottom of a small valley, 2,952 ft from Le Diamant beach, L'Ultramarine hotel is arranged as 3 pavilions around a green field, a swimming pool and a tennis court. At the end of the property, there is a semi-open restaurant run by a restaurant owner.

The 77 apartments are spacious and designed to accommodate 4 to 8 persons (2 or 3 rooms with a mezzanine). They all have a balcony, air conditioning, television, telephone, a bathroom with all amenities (a shower and a hair dryer) and a kitchen (a mini-oven, a coffeemaker, a toaster).

Even if breakfast is served directly beside the swimming pool, other meals are served at the restaurant, which is independent from the hotel. Daniel, the restaurant's manager, will welcome you with his jovial smile and Alsatian accent (the former owner of an Alsatian restaurant popular at Fort-de-France). You can choose from Creole specialities, international and Alsace cuisine. The meal consists of 9 cold starters, 9 hot starters, 12 meat dishes, 9 fish dishes and nearly 10 different desserts.
