Hotel Kanika Pantheon

2 miles away from the old centre, the hotel is located in the heart of Limassol. The hotel is protected from the large highways going toward Limassol, because it is surrounded by small one-way roads that serve numerous buildings and houses. Expect about 45 minutes to get to Larnaca international airport, about 40 miles away. Not far from here, you will find stores and cafes connected to the main street in Limassol.

There is no real beach near the hotel. There are lots of rocks on the verge of the sea and lots of pebbles on the seabed. To get here, you have to cross over a 4-lane highway which has heavy traffic. Add to that a deceptive view, and you had better choose a beautiful beach in Limassol, located farther away, up the coast.
The hotel is recommended for business clientele because the 4th level is specially reserved for this type of clients and there is a conference room which can accommodate up to 350 people. You will also find a majority of English groups, followed by German and French groups. Besides the multilingual personnel, there are 2 animators on the site. Every day, the schedule of activities is different. Once a week, you are offered folk, Greek and Cypriot shows. A singer delights your ears 4 days a week. Reception is available 24 hours. Room service is available from 7 AM to 11 AM and you can request a secretary.

Built in 1991, the Kanika Pantheon was renovated in 2003. This three-star is located in a massive 7-level building. Once you locate and climb a few steps to the porch, you get to a nice area, where it is good to rest. The decor is very warm and has places with soft sofas where you can rest or glance through a newspaper. Outside, there are two pools - 1,615 feet² each - with beach chairs and sunshades. In addition: a kids pool and a small playground. The Kanika offers a health and beauty centre, separate from the hotel but belonging to it: aromatherapy, massage, manicure and pedicure. Sports room, sauna, hammam, jacuzzi... Unfortunately, these facilities are located in the basement, which makes the time spent inside the building less charming. Wireless Internet connection in the entire hotel, but the service is for a fee!

The Kanika Pantheon offers 158 rooms - 215 feet² in average. All air-conditioned, they are categorized as business rooms, superior and standard rooms. From the rooms, you have a view of the different buildings in Limassol, a bad alternative to those facing the sea. The TV has 21 channels including 2 cinema channels. You will also be offered a large selection of films when you feel you want to watch one. The decor is in patterns of brown in the functional rooms that are in good condition. Key facilities: safe-box, direct telephone line, filled mini-bar, radio and balcony with armchairs and table. The simple bathrooms have a bathtub, hair-dryer and Kanika brand welcome products.

Three restaurants serve you. A large rectangular room is the dining area. The Diana buffet stretches out all along the room. In the front, bay-windows overlook the pool. The tables are set up in the middle. Every day, you are offered a different thematic buffet: Italian, Mexican, barbecue... you can also eat vegetarian food, a la carte or ask in advance for a special menu, for your kids. The breakfast buffet is served between 7 AM and 10 AM, but it doesn't offer much of a variety. Lunch is served from 12:30 PM to 3 PM and dinner from 7 PM to 10 PM. The O'brien's bar/restaurant, an Irish pub located inside the hotel, offers a warm atmosphere thanks to the ever-present wood and fancy lighting (a la carte menu from 11:30 AM to 10 PM). The Lido tavern, decorated in a traditional style, serves local specialities. The Appollo, the pool bar, offers drinks, refreshing cocktails and snacks.
