Hotel Miramare - Chypre

On the oceanfront, 3 miles from downtown Limassol. Larnaca and Paphos airports are located at equal distances from the hotel. Allow 45 minutes for transfers.

At the Miramare, you will find a spa that has 2 massage cabins (1 double, 1 single), 1 hydrotherapy cabin and 1 aesthetics cabin. Different schedules are offered on one, two, three or five days. To get in shape, fight stress or revitalize face and body. The products used are branded Thalgo.

The Miramare is one of the first hotels that opened in Limassol's hotelier area. Built in 1964, it was renovated in 2001. A double building of 5 to 6 levels built in front of the sea, it differenciates itself from the other hotels of its class thanks to beautiful relaxation facilities: two outdoor pools, 1 pool for kids, and an indoor pool beside the spa. As for their size, the outdoor pools are more spacious (65 to 82 feet long) and one of them has a pool-bar and water jets. There is a jacuzzi beside the indoor pool. Paved sundecks for the deckchairs, but unfortunately there are no lawns nor palm trees. The bath towels are available free of charge at the spa.

There are 282 rooms. About half of them overlook the sea; the others overlook the surrounding areas, the populated zones of Limassol or the hills. Of a standard size (210 square feet), they each have a balcony with plastic garden furniture. The interior decoration includes items made of rattan and two watercolor pictures on the walls. A good level of comfort is assured with air-conditioning, direct telephone line, TV and a mini-bar. The use of the safe located in the bedroom is available for an extra fee. The bathrooms are equipped with a bathtub, a hair-dryer and a small basket of welcome products.

The main restaurant has numerous tables installed on the outside terrace, protected against the sun by reed roofing. A fish pond all around, a view of the sea in the background. The breakfast buffet has omelettes and fried eggs, waffles, fresh fruits, pastries, cheese and cooked meats. In the evening, the buffet is composed of salads, pasta, soups and several choices of main courses. At noon, the service is à la carte. You can also eat at the snack-restaurant on the beach if you want.

The beach in front of the hotel is a small cove with grey sand (because of its volcanic origin) of 328 feet long and 160 feet large. The hotel is located in front of a longer coast , but elsewhere there is no room for deckchairs. A diving club enables you to go sailing (extra charge). You also have the possibility to do water sports independently of the hotel.
