Well locatedThis three-star hotel has the advantage of being ideally located at the heart of Lisbon, just a stone's throw from the old town and with a metro station nearby. The rooms here are traditional but a great deal of effort has gone into the decor of the communal areas, namely the restaurant and the lobby bar. The 61 guest rooms offer a high level of amenities and there is even one room designed especially for allergy-sufferers.
The hotel is located at the very heart of Lisbon, very close to the Anjos metro station and around ten minutes from the city's airport. The Baixa Pombalina and the old town, meanwhile, are just a few minutes' walk away.
The hotel has a private car park for guests travelling by car, which is undeniably a major bonus in an area where it is so difficult to park otherwise.
On arrival at the hotel you'll find yourself in a small reception area where you'll be able to check in. A selection of tourist leaflets are provided on the desk and there are plenty of other things to occupy you while you wait. If you'd like to relax a little whilst they're getting your keys ready, head over to the lobby bar where you'll find a variety of drinks and cold dishes available. This part of the hotel is very pleasant and even has an Internet corner with a computer and some comfortable white leather sofas. Breakfast is served in a spacious and very tastefully-decorated dining room with colourful lighting bringing a touch of modernity to the surroundings amid the old tapestries adorning the walls. The various options available are arranged on a large buffet station so you can choose whatever you fancy. If you don't feel like having breakfast in the dining room you could always have it in the inner courtyard, where the smokers tend to gather. Despite this, this little inner courtyard is very pleasant during the summer months.
The guest rooms are decorated in shades of yellow and all feature ornamental plants as well as decorated silk curtains. The floors are carpeted, but if you suffer from any allergies you might like to request a room with parquet flooring. The services here are basic but everything is impeccable. Indeed, the bathrooms even come with a full beauty kit and a bathtub, whilst the bedrooms feature satellite television broadcasting a large selection of foreign channels. They are also pretty quiet thanks to the double-glazed windows which provide perfect insulation from the noise coming from the street below. It has to be said that the services and amenities here are pretty good for a three-star city hotel.
The restaurant is only open for breakfast, from 7:00am to 10:30am. Snacks and various cold dishes are also available from the lobby bar.
