Hotel Angsana Ihuru Resort and Spa

The hotel is located in the Male Nord atoll, just across from Banyan Tree, 25 minutes by speedboat from the Male airport.

The Angsana belongs to the Banyan Tree chain, elected best spa of the year. There is no charge for water sports for advanced level enthusiasts, except for underwater diving, jet skiing and water skiing.

Created in 2001, the Angsana is a pleasant, comfortable, quality, refined hotel. The 45 villas are permanent, simple on the outside and more refined on the inside. The hotel has a spa, jacuzzi, hammam, fitness room, and various water sports; however, it offers no land sports. The Angsana has a nice, modern bar opening out onto the sea, lined with sand, with Internet access. Good cocktails are served in a friendly atmosphere. The hotel has a shop and a library.

The hotel has 45 deluxe beach front villas (with jacuzzi). All the rooms are equipped with the direct telephone for international calling, CD player, mini-bar, and a safe box. Perfect comfort minus a television. But the idea at Banyan Tree is to fully take advantage of the outdoors, the beach, nature and relaxation... Indeed, the rooms are very warm, lit by candles and small lights, scented by essential oils, changed every day. The ambiance is sensual and exotic. Room service operates from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The hotel has a modern and elegant restaurant, with original decor and lit by candles at night. The dishes are presented in an aesthetic manner and the cuisine is varied, plentiful and delicious. Lunch is served at noon in the form of a buffet, with different themes. Dinner is served à la carte, except three days a week which is in the style of a buffet. The restaurant has a terrace with a sea view.

The beach has deckchairs and sunshade umbrellas. The water is clear. The coral reef is close to the beach, so the area where you can swim in the water is not very big.
