The Rincon Andaluz is located in a residential district, 1 mile away from the styleshness summer resort of Puerto Banus. It is located 4 miles from downtown Marbella and 37 miles from Malaga airport. Count between 45 and 55 minutes to get to the hotel.

The ''village'' houses a small church, located on a small public square covered by pebbles and surrounded by orange and cypress trees. When you book your stay, ask for a room with balcony that overlooks this place (Plaza de los Faroles), this way you will be far from the beach and close to the road but the place is really very charming.

Built in 1980 and renovated in 2000, and then in 2002, the Rincon Andaluz is designed as an Andalusian village, surrounded by a large tropical garden. The 315 rooms and the common parts are spread out in charming white one-level cottages, separated between them by small yards planted with trees. The lobby shows a special effort for comfort and decoration, even if the Moorish ambiance remains a little sad. The large wicker armchairs, specially, as well as the low sofas and the cushions invite you to relax. Very dark, the main bar is less welcoming but is a pleasant place where you can drink something and watch the nocturnal shows. You will also find an outdoor pool - 3,230 ft² - overhunged by artificial rocks with a small waterfall running. It is surrounded by a green area with beach chairs. You can use the hotel towels; you can pick them up from the reception. On the promenade, you will also find a pool for children and showers. All this area is supervised by a life-guard from 10 AM to 6 PM. A little farther, another pool (1,290 ft²), bean-shaped, more quiet but not supervised, is also available. It is located aside from a pond bordered by papyrus where you can see red fishes and turles swimming.

The rooms open directly on a square unit, streamlined with its pale-faced yellow rendering, built-up by a blue and yellow border, and its blue wicker furniture. A very large wardrobe and a rack are available for ordering your clothes. All the rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a satellite TV, a safe (paying), a stocked mini-bar and a telephoe with direct line for international calls. The bathrooms offer a washbasin embedded by a marble table, a bathtub, toilets, a hair-dryer and a make-up mirror. The double rooms offer a patio or a balcony equipped with a low table and two wicker armchairs. The patios are very large and very nice. Depending on the building where you will stay, you will have a view of the yards, the walkways, the pool or the gardens.

The restaurant of the hotel occupies a very large room, spread out in three parts, including one for buffets. The setting leaves a lot of space available to walk around, but you should walk long distances to go and serve yourself. The decoration is very rustic with big old paving, rattan armchairs and white tablecloths. Despite everything, you still cannot get away from the canteen-looking room. This is were breakfast and dinner are served. The cuisine offers a majority of local dishes and a few international standards rather adapted for the numerous German clientele. For lunch, you can go at the pool restaurant where the menu offers you a selection of pastas, salads, sandwiches, pizzas, meats and fishes. The snack of the beach is also open in high season from 10:30 AM to 6 PM.

The hotel is located about 1,640 ft away from a charmless public beach. On one side, it is bordered by rocks, and on the other one, by the beach-club and the nearby residence. Everything forms a closed cove relatively protected and rather peaceful. The sand is grey, scattered here and there by pebble areas. The hotel's beach club is located right above the beach. In open season, during the day, you can rent beach chairs, mattresses as well as sunshades. Attention, there are no nearby nautical clubs. If you want to practice nautical sports, you should go to Puero Banus, 1 mile away from here.
