Hotel Apollon

The hotel is located on the heights of Tolo, 165 ft from the downtown area and the beach. The hotel is 7 miles from Nauplie and 105 miles from Athens airport.

The Apollon, the King Minos and the Minoa belong to the same hotel chain, based here for several generations. The reception is warm and you will appreciate the area around the swimming pool. The hotel has a private parking lot.

The Apollon was constructed in 1980 and completely renovated in 2001. Its modern architecture gives it a convivial appearance. The large lobby is tiled in blue and decorated with a small lounge in carefully selected colours, making it quite friendly. Here and there, you see bouquets made of wheat sheaves. The big restaurant, carfully designed, is also a beautiful living space. The swimming pool is just opposite the hotel. Add to this, the gorgeous view from the bay-window that runs along the entire length of the ground floor. You have to descend a few steps to take advantage of the deckchairs and the sunshades (available for free) all around it.

The 47 impeccably clean rooms of the Apollo are not very large (130 ft²) but they are certainly comfortable. They are bright and tastefully decorated. The raw wood furniture - a desk covered with a sheet of glass (with a mirror), a small bench, a large comfortable bed in a wooden frame (extra bed, if needed) and a balcony overlooking the sea or the mountains. The bathrooms are tiled in blue and white and have beautiful showers, personal toiletry products, hair dryers and toilets.

The main restaurant has a capacity of 90 to 100 seats. It is a pleasant and beautifully decorated space. You can opt to dine under the wooden pergola outdoors. The restaurant serves an open buffet breakfast (from 7:30 AM to 10 AM) and dinner (from 7 PM to 9:30 PM). The buffet is varied at breakfast and in the evening, you can sample Greek specialties composed of a number of salads and 4 or 5 hot dishes. Two bars are at your disposal, one in the lobby and the other by the swimming pool.

The beach is 165 ft away. It is public and not very wide but its sand is pleasant. At both ends of the beach you may find a bit more space. The sea is crystal clear and the panorama is magnificent. The terraces of the restaurants run along the sea and invite you to eat at any time. Tolo is a small seaside town, vibrant with life.
