Hotel Hédonism II

The Hedonism II hotel is located in Negril, at the far end of the beach, on the west coast of Jamaica, just over 46.5 miles from Montego Bay airport, about an hour and a half drive.

The Hedonism II opened in 1976. The hotel has two parts: one dedicated to nudists and the other to swimsuiters. The hotel offers the all-inclusive package. The package includes all meals, all drinks, beverages and activities on the premisses. You will be satisfied: tips are prohibited! The service includes: all meals, regardless of the time, all drinks, soft drinks or alcoholic beverages, all leisure activities, sports, water sports, including courses and the most sophisticated equipment... The rooms overlooking the sea and the suites with terraces and a whirlpool bath with sea view and garden view all are extra charged. If you travel on your own, you can ask for a double room to share with a person of same sex. This will save you paying extra for an individual room. Contrary to the rumours spreading about the Hédonism hotel, it is forbidden to make love in the common areas of the hotel. The hotel is divided into a nudist part and a swimsuiter part. You can take your clothes off and enjoy the pleasure of nudity, but only in the nudist part and it is forbidden to be in the nudist area dressed even in a swimsuit! For diving, do not forget your international C card issued by a certified diving school. If you do not have such a card, you must undergo a small swim test. You will then need to obtain a medical certificate of fitness to practice diving, you can be checked by doctors on the spot for an additional charge.

The ground-floor buildings of the Hédonism II need some refurbishment, because they seem pretty dull. The garden adds a little cheer to the entire setting. In addition to the 280 double rooms, the hotel offers many facilities and free activities: two large swimming pools (including a nudist pool with a floating bar), whirlpool bathtubs, a fully equipped fitness centre, aerobics classes 5 times a week, six tennis courts available even at night, two air-conditioned squash playgrounds, badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, cycling. There is an extra charge for the following services: massages, reflexology, aromatherapy, seaweed wrapping, facial care, manicure and pedicure, Internet access, beauty parlour, shopping, excursions from the hotel, horseback riding, parasailing.

Entertainment:
an animation team successfully manages to create a great atmosphere. The circus workshop offers courses of fixed and flying trapeze, trampoline, juggling and acrobatics on unicycle or bicycle. Live concerts are organised every evening from 8.30 PM until midnight in the restaurants and the entertainment venues. Some artists come to produce stage shows every evening on the large terrace. The disco and the piano bars are open all night until dawn. The karaoke bar is open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 PM not to mention the evenings that makes the Hédonism II famous: Reggae Night, Sex Struggle, Pyjama Party, Cabaret, Toga Party, Competition, Beach Party, Live Concert, Games and Entertainment, Circus, traditional dances and dance competitions ... The programme is undeniable fun!

There are 280 double rooms, including 15 suites with whirlpool bathtubs overlooking the beach or the gardens - the hotel is divided into two parts - one part dedicated to the nudists and another part dedicated to swimsuiters. All rooms are equipped with double or twin beds, a direct dial telephone, air conditioning, CD player, mirrors mounted on the ceiling above the bed, all amenities for making tea and coffee, iron and ironing board, a safe. However, the rooms have no television. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a hair dryer.

The hotel offers a buffet in the great hall with a terrace. Both Beach Grills are also open from 11.30 AM to 5 PM, on the beaches. The Pastafari, an Italian restaurant, welcomes you to dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. The Jamaican Restaurant offers dinner around the pool. The Main Dining Terrace serves buffet style breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The Beach Grills: Hamburgers and other snacks throughout the day. A total of five bars in total are at the tourists' disposal.

The private beach is divided into two parts, including a nudist beach with a jacuzzi for nudists. It is large, equipped with deckchairs, and there is another one for watersports. The sand is littered with shells and coral. But we must admit that the beach is nice and has clear waters. It is possible to do: scuba diving, snorkeling, water skiing, "hobie cat", take courses at the windsurfing school, sailing, scuba diving, sailing on glass bottom boat, canoe-kayaking...
