RestThe Kuramathi Cottage Club and Spa is the pearl of the Kuramathi hotels, with quality comfort, tasteful cuisine, and a warm welcome. The hotel is the most expensive in Kuramathi. And with good reason.

The island of Kuramathi is located on the Rashdoo atoll North of the Ari Nord atoll, 15 min by sea plane and 1 hour and 45 minutes b speed boat from Male. The Kuramathi Cottage Club and Spa is located on the island of Kuramathi between the Kuramathi Village and Kuramathi Blue Lagoon hotels.
The Kuramathi Cottage Club and Spa resides on the only island of the Maldives that has three separate hotels. All three belong to Universal Resorts and are managed by the company. The Kuramathi Cottage Club and Spa is at the high-end of the three establishments of the Kuramathi island. The clients are free to roam in each of the hotels.
For honeymooners: special newlywed price and candlelight dinner offered by Kuoni.
Underwater diving:
The Rashdoo Atoll Divers underwater diving centre offers classes for all levels in English using the PADI, CMAS and NAUI methods. The coral reef is 40 m from the beach. 20 underwater diving sites are between a 5-minute and 1 hour trip. Underwater diving at night is possible, especially around jetsoms. The sites are all well-known for their Manta rays, turtles, hammerhead sharks and barracudas.
The island measures 1 mile lengthwise. Built in 1979 as the island's ensemble of establishments, the Kuramathi Cottage Club and Spa has attractive infrastructures, a nice-looking wooden bar and a restaurant opening on the sea, a swimming pool and a children's pool, a spa with a sauna, a fitness room, a tennis court that is lit at night. There are many sports available at the water sports centre. Karaoke and concerts are organised. Club nights liven up the evenings at the bar in front of the sea.
The hotel has 50 individual bungalows on piers of 40 m2, 2 suites, 31 standard rooms located on the beach. All the rooms are decorated with sophistication, equipped with individual air conditioning, mini-bar, and a safe box. Each one has a balcony with a couch and a wooden table. The rooms are facing the sea but the view is sometimes obstructed. The bathrooms have a hair dryer, bathtub, and an outside shower in a little garden. Beach towels are available in the rooms.
The Kuramathi Cottage Club and Spa has one main restaurant facing the sea, the Malaafaiy Restaurant, open for all three meals; the Wine & Havana Bar opens at 6:00 p.m.; the Palm Court Restaurant is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offers light dishes; the Sea View Coffee Shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and offers an Asian and international snack service. A Thai restaurant is open for dinner. Open all day until their last client, the Dhoni Bar gives a warm welcome, facing the sea in an all-wooden frame and decorated with a beautiful traditional fishing boat. Spend time in a teakwood terrace with chairs and tables hanging over the ocean.
The beach has white sand. It is not very large but is still pleasant. The water is translucent, contains no rocks, and there is plentyt of room to swim.
