4 miles from Paphos small port, on the occeanfront, the Aziza hotel is located far from the touristic whirl. Municipal buses services the port, Paphos downtown (5 miles away) and the Coral Bay area (2.5 miles away); three lively zones where you can find lots of bars, restaurants and shopping centres. To reach the hotel from Larnaca airport (located 87 miles away), will take 2 hours, 20 minutes if you land in Paphos.

There is also a plantation of fruit-trees in Azia that you can visit (10 minutes by car). It guarantees lots of fresh desserts.
The animation is based on a soft mode (wine tasting, local folk, raquetball competitions).

Built in 1993, the Azia hotel has a total of 258 rooms and suites housed in the main building of 4-levels and an annex, renovated in 2001.The rectilinear facade and the voluminous interior are decorated in a very contemporary style. Cubic shapes dominate the building. An indoor garden invades the hallway, large shafts of light and Venetian blinds cover the large bay-windows. The concern for detail is really obvious in this original establishment. The beautiful, large, asymmetrical lagoon pool is surrounded by a luxuriant garden... which loses its superb charm in the front of the annex, where young plants are still too thin.

The accommodation choices are various: very spacious standard rooms have a direct view of the sea and the pool, the interior of the grounds, or two suites of minimum two rooms with a view of the sea and the pool. The rattan and wooden furniture evokes a laid-back summer attitude. All the rooms are equipped by satellite TV, direct telephone line for international calls, adjustable air-conditioning, a mini-bar, a large balcony or a sundeck, a hairdresser with hair-dryer and a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and honeycomb bathrobes. 24 hour room service.

A local and international cuisine is served buffet-style or menu-style. In the evening, different thematic buffets (barbecue, fondue, flambe, Italian, Cypriot) are options offered. The personnel take your order for drinks (extra charge) and clears the tables. The room where you can have breakfast and lunches is extended by a large sundeck facing the gardens and the sea. A small floral amphiteatre is used for oudoor candle-light dinners. Same intimate decoration for the main restaurant, very large, open only in the evening. Those interested can also order a la carte all day long at the Cypriot cafe. There are also 3 bars.

The rocks on the beach do not let you swim at the base of the hotel, where beach chairs and sunshades are installed anyway, on artificial terraced sundecks covered by sand. This is a good location if you want to suntan, though. If you want to enjoy a real beach with fine sand, you have to go along the coast for about 820 feet. Here you can bath and find a vendor that will offer a full set of water activities.
