Hotel Laura Beach

On the oceanfront, between the touristy Paphos port (3 miles away) and the beautiful sandy Coral Bay ( 5 miles away). Just a few steps away, you will find banana tree plantations. No built-up areas around the hotel. To reach the hotel from the Larnaca airport ( located 91 miles away), will take 1 hour and 50 minutes ( 20 minutes if you land in Paphos).

The dinners are usually accompanied by live background music.
The entertainment schedule allows to have fun up to midnight, with beach-parties and disco evenings.
The hotel is not located in a city, but there are municipal buses that get you to Paphos center in 15 minutes and to the port in 10 minutes.

Built in 1991 on a 45 hectares area, the Laura Beach is noticeable from quite far away, due to its yellow and ochre balconies. it offers 292 rooms, 16 bungalows and 9 suites, able to accommodate up to 750 persons. Life here is organized around numerous sporting activities, the fitness club and beauty centre and the facilities offered by the multilingual entertainment team. The division of the spaces and the successful laying out of the gardens - wild flowers, palm trees, banana trees and a small waterfall - allow you a few moments of tranquility.

All the rooms were renovated in 1998. They are bright and have balconies, satellite TV, telephones with direct international line, dressing tables with hair-dryers, adjustable air-conditioning and bathrooms with a bathtub and towels for swimming the pool. A refrigerator can be placed in the room upon request, for an extra charge. The decoration is not really original. The new wooden and rattan furniture, the carpet and the large size of the room contribute to a good level of comfort.

Different delicious and elegant buffets are served for all the three meals ( different dishes every evening) in the welcoming dining rooms. If you want to order from a menu, you will have to pay additional fees. The cuisine alternates with different themes ( Italian, Cypriot, international, barbecue). There are two services available, which makes the service pretty fast, but there are not too many chances if you want dinner on the sundeck. Too bad. A wooden restaurant, decorated in a ''ship'' style, offers an a la carte service and an international cuisine.

The beach is one of the hot spots of the hotel - sandy seabeds with a few rocks, clear water and fine and clean sand. There are small, sandy sundecks laid out above the beach , which will delight sun worshippers. The panoramic view of the small bay is very nice. Peaceful bathing is guaranteed because the site is protected by two small artificial docks. Numerous water sports are offered.
