Hotel Phaeton

On the oceanfront, 2 miles away from Paphos port, the heart of the touristic animation. To reach the hotel from Larnaca airport (located 84 miles away), you will need 1 hour and 30 minutes (10 minutes if you land in Paphos).

Dinners are usually accompanied by a live background music.
The ''all-inclusive'' formula allows you to have two alcoholic drinks per person during one meal (local wines, beer), a selection of wines, ice- creams and snacks and hot drinks during the day, and allows you to have an access to all the sports and leisure facilities (except for massage, silk painting, tennis, motorised water sports).

Built in 1993, the large white building of the Phaeton club and the park on the verge of the water form an area entirely dedicated for sports and leisure. The maximum capacity of the hotel (1,200 persons) offers a lot of space... there is a lot. Pool, sports facilities and animation schedule (a different show every evening on a cycle of 15 days) fit this large thing dedicated for ''leisure-vacations''. You will be disappointed by the large lawn areas looking a little sad that lead you to the sea.

The 402 rooms are equipped with a simple but coloured wooden furniture. They all offer a balcony or a sundeck, a bathroom with a bathtub, adjustable air-conditioning, direct telephone line. 42 rooms can be connected between them to welcome families. Satellite TV and mini-bar by request and for additional fees.

The buffets served for all the meals offer different dishes every day. The service closes at 9 PM. The only restaurant room offers a large sundeck of 150 styleshness seats in a coloured and joyful decoration. The cuisine combines several influences (Indian, Italian, Chinese, Greek, international, flambe dishes). There are also 4 bars (including that of the night club) including one that serves cold snacks during the day. Do not expect a miracle concerning the quality, the flavours are quite plain.

The beach is the low point of the site: not really welcoming because it is not that large and of a trivial beauty. It is however peaceful and fitted out for children. Possibility to do water sports.
