You are sure to be happy about how close Rue Richard Lenoir is to fashionable parts of Paris like the boutiques and galleries of the Marais and lively bars around Bastille.
This quiet street is located in a peaceful working class neighbourhood. The closest metro station is Voltaire. The Palais de la Femme, which stands opposite the hotel, has set the tone of the rooms of the BLC hotel.

The image of a woman projected on the walls of the corridors leading to the bedrooms is a taster of the theme of the floor above and the somewhat blurred image printed on the wall of your room, which is otherwise decorated and furnished entirely in white. This sci-fi effect does not at all diminish on entering your room, as an intelligently designed lamp and ambient music welcome you into your abode. In the middle of your 'spaceship' you will more likely than not find a shower, separated from the rest of the room by no more than a curtain. The toilets are well separated from your sleeping area though. The BLC also has 4 luxury double rooms. All rooms are equipped with Wifi, a hair-dryer, a flat screen television and air-conditioning.

The BLC opened its white doors in September 2009, and will need to remain as immaculate as on its very first day. Indeed, it is hard to cut corners with cleanliness if your hotel is based on the concept of everything being white! The lobby has a lounge feel and is fitted with a refrigerator with bottles of water filtered by a Norwegian system. You may also help yourself to a glass of wine whenever you wish by inserting a bank card into a very modern machine. Breakfast is a more traditional set-up, with mini pastries, yogurts, cereals and drinks served as a buffet in a bar area. This experimental hotel is presenting itself as a little - and affordable - curiosity, and both the technology and surroundings are very trendy.
