Hotel Elysées Mermoz

The peaceful Mermoz street is located within the Golden Triangle of Paris, between the Champs Elysées and Faubourg Saint-Honoré, attracting tourists and business people like a magnet. The Elysées Mermoz benefits from this great location and is in a politically significant spot, close to the French National Assembly, the residence of the Prime Minister and the residence of the French president. When walking towards the business district of La Madeleine, you will see that restaurants and shops abound. The hotel is located half-way between the underground stations of Franklin Roosevelt and Saint-Philippe du Roule. The closest car park is located on Avenue Matignon.

The 22 guest rooms of the Elysées Mermoz are decorated simply and elegantly, where comfort is the main feature. The red lighting of the lamps isn't ideal for working at night however. The rooms are air-conditioned, they are equipped with a television showing a wide choice of channels, a minibar and a welcome tray. It also has five suites with a view of the hotel's glass roof. The hospitality products are from L'Occitane and the bathrooms have a separate toilet. They are all equipped with a hairdryer. WiFi internet access is unfortunately not included in the price, at a charge of ?5 an hour. There is a dry-cleaning service also available for a fee.

If hospitality is an art, why not make the lobby a gallery of contemporary paintings? Your comfort will not be pushed aside however, as you will be able to relax on a stylish sofa. Breakfast, whether served in your room or as a buffet is charged at ?12. The breakfast hall is to be found in a vaulted cellar furnished with unusual items: take your eyes off your food for a minute so you can enjoy the mouldings on the vaulted ceiling. The hotel also has a conference hall, avoiding any austerity: splendid photographs, high ceilings and modern furniture for stylish business meetings. However, this room only has a capacity of 8 guests. There isn't a kitchen in the hotel but cold meals are delivered for dinner.
