Hotel Place Clichy Paris

Located in a small street that runs perpendicular to the shady neighbouring Place de Clichy, the hotel is near a cinema complex and an American restaurant. Conveniently, the Gare St Lazare station is a ten-minute walk away, and all the night life and agitation of the Pigalle district are just a short walk from the hotel. From there, you are at the foot of the Butte Montmarte which if you climb all the way to the top of will bring you to the Sacré-Coeur. The closest underground station is Place de Clichy.

Guests enter through a small door and follow a corridor that leads to the reception desk. There are no seats, and the area is simple, though well-kept. The breakfast room is in keeping with the rest of the hotel and is comfortable with numerous chairs and tables. There is a public carpark just 150m away.

The establishment's 31 rooms are all in the same category: standard. The one we stayed in was charmless, with little effort made in terms of the interior decoration, providing guests with little else than a simple structure where they can store their belongings. A small desk and a chair have nevertheless been included. The bathroom is spacious and luminous thanks to its window that looks out onto the street. They are all equipped with either a shower or a bathtub. As for the amenities, the rooms include satellite television, free Wi-Fi access, and a safe is available for free from the reception for guests to use. Average value for money.
