A simple hotel with very well-equipped rooms.
The Gare de Lyon district is a lively area with a plethora of restaurants and brasseries. A short walk will take you to the Bastille area if you're in the mood for some Opera. The hotel is not right next to the station and so does provide some tranquility. All the sights of Paris are easily accessible by public transport with numerous buses, metro lines and the RER (French regional express train).
A small and pretty lobby welcomes guests in a colonial setting that boasts a massive romantic-era painting. To the left there is a web corner, free for guests. The hotel also has free Wi-Fi. You may also take the time to enjoy a drink in this rather welcoming lobby and glance through the day's papers.
The rooms are relatively well-equipped for a two-star establishment and include a hair-dryer, a safe, individual air-conditioning and a flat-screen TV. The interior decoration is rather simple and favours green or yellow tones and dark wood. Each room has its own copy of a famous painting.
