Hotel Achaïa Med

The hotel is located 15 minutes from the centre of Patras and 45 minutes from Patras airport. The hotel is situated on the Old National Road running along the northern coast of the Peloponnesus, 105 miles from Athens and 150 miles from the airport.

The swimming pool is supervised from 10 AM to 1 PM and 1:30 PM to 6 PM. The hotel club offers the "all inclusive" package.

Activities:
The activities team speak French and offers different activities each week. From 10 AM to 12:15 PM, for example, they lead you in wake-up exercises and then there is a volley tournament. Each noon, a game before lunch is organised by the swimming pool. Then, in the afternoon from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, the activities resume: mini football, mini basketball, tennis... At 7 PM, an aperitif game precedes meals and a mini disco is organised at the amphitheatre. In the evening there are various performances ending up at the disco bar. The children have their kid's club (4-12 years old) and they are taken care of all day during school holidays.

Many stone walkways connect the 200 rooms in the 30 bungalows and 170 cabins. The restaurant and the reception area, located at the entrance of the Achaïa Med, introduce the small village which is constituted of small straw cabins, scattered here and there. A beautiful pool area with a bar and a boutique, in the middle of the garden, is the centre of the activities. Finally, a little further down, the beach. Near the restaurant, another smaller swimming pool that is a bit quieter.

The bungalows and cabins can accommodate up to 2, 3 or 4 people. More comfortable and better equipped, the bungalows have one or two rooms with white walls and wooden furniture. A bed, night tables and closets - these are all the amenities, no frills. The straw roof cabins have tiled floors and wooden walls, for an intimate and friendly atmosphere. The bungalows and cabins are equipped with a refrigerator and television. Safes are provided at the reception area. The small bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer, a shower, toilet, soap and towels.

The main restaurant, with a capacity of 400 guest, has a beautiful outdoor terrace. It offers an "all inclusive" package, a varied open buffet, including local and international cuisine. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM, lunch, 1 PM to 2:15 PM and dinner , 7:30 PM to 9:15 PM. You can also dine at the "tavern" where grilled fish is on the menu (in addition to the all-inclusive service) served in a beautiful, soothing setting. Two bars offer refreshments: the pool bar and the disco bar.

The beach of the Achaïa Med is quite large. You have to descend over a low wall to enter the water, some ladders are also available to get down more easily.
