Hotel Copacabana Beach Resort

The hotel is located on the seafront, some 4 miles from the centre of Puerto Aventuras and some 22 miles from Playa del Carmen and its bus station. It takes about an hour and a quarter to reach Cancun airport, which is 55 miles away.

The Copacabana Beach Hôtel Resort is both a charming hotel and a facility up to international standard. It is located along the beautiful beach of Xpu-Ha and nearby Mayan sites, coral reefs and ecological parks. It stands out with its refinement. It offers just enough animation for your stay. It is particularly suitable for couples or small families.

The hotel opens onto a reception area offering the cosy ambiance. It leads to a wooden bridge that spans a basin formed by a natural source of pristine water. It extends by a stone path which crosses an area of original tropical vegetation dotted with orchids. The relief is also preserved. Around you will see six two-storey buildings painted pale yellow. They are decorated with moucharabies made of brick and stencil design that represent floral motifs. They stretch up to a mangrove above a large swimming pool, the fitness gym, the counter of water sports, children club and then the beach.

The rooms, large and country-style, have wood furniture carved with flowers and rattan. The bright tones dominate. A king-size bed or two double beds occupy the rooms. They open onto a balcony or a terrace overlooking the garden. Individual air conditioning, a ceiling fan, satellite television, telephone with direct access for international dialling, a mini-bar and a safe complement the amenities in these rooms. The bathroom has a shower and a hair-dryer.

The restaurant La Selva provides a buffet topped with regional and international dishes for breakfast and dinner. The choice is varied and the cuisine is quite good. Every day, the restaurant serves on thematic evenings: Mexican, Caribbean, Eastern, International, French. Its vast dining room mixes up Spanish-Moorish styles and Art Nouveau. For lunch, the restaurant La palapa is also preparing a meal buffet style. It stretches alongside the swimming pool. The Mexican restaurant Centenario and the Italian restaurant La Dolce Vita serves a la carte for dinner.

The hotel borders the beautiful public beach of Xpu-Ha. The sand is white and fine, the water is clear and the Caribbean Sea is turquoise blue. Swimmers, divers and fans of water sports meet there. The site is guarded and cleaned. Some coconut trees offer tiny shaded areas. The beach equipment is voluntarily scanty.
